Omg, this temple pissed me off so much! I got lost here more then I did in the water temple. I would always do this one last.

I would only attempt it after I had completed ALL the other temples AND side-quests so I would have less problems beating this damn dungeon!

Out of all the themes they could have done with the Shadow Temple, they made it based off of a Mausoleum/Torture Chamber.

I swear, if ESRB saw the Shadow Temple, the game would have been bumped up to a M.

But it wasnt.

And alot of kids were scarred that day.

@abominus566 No, I mean I dont mind the music, but the decor in there, combined with the Shadow Temple Theory.

Used as a torture chamber, many fates for death (fed to the Death Hand, decapitated by the invisible scythes, cremated alive, crushed beneath rain of pain, left behind on the Hell Boat, (all of which used to strike fear into survivor POWs), and finally either crushed between the spiked walls or cruelly crucified in the final room of the temple.

@HaterKYF5 There are two types of hand enemies. There's the floor master which is on the floor, and the wall master which is on the ceiling. While the floor master will be walking on the floor and charge at you the wall master will drop from the ceiling. I found the floor master scarier since I didn't like getting strangled by little hands. On the other hand, lame pun I know, the wall master was just annoying since it wouldn't kill you, it would just drag you to the beginning of the level.

@MySpaceBarsBroken0o i thought they were the same, but, come to think of it, when a wallmaster missed and i attacked it, it didn't turn into 3 little hands. the other most annoying enemie are the zombies. not only do they paralyze you, but they hump you when they attack

@HaterKYF5 When I was six being stunned and raped by a ReDead was at the top of my things to fear list. When I went to the tomb of the composer brothers the ReDead's scream literally made me freeze, as soon as I came to my senses I was frozen in terror again when they started to rape Link. After that experience I never went there again. Then when I went to the forest temple and was strangled to death by a Floor Master I quit playing OoT for 5 years.

I have all the items except for the one bottle, my bullet bag bomb bag and quiver are maxed, I have the gold scale, I found most of the fairy fountains, can score all bulls eyes on the horse back archery, have 62 of the gold skulltulas, and a full magic meter and 19 hearts so I'm happy.

Ive longed to make a haunted house on halloween of the shadow temple. and back in the darkest room I would have the biggest replica of bongo bongo hanging from the ceiling with the temple music playing loud movable hands huge tribal bongo and to top it all when the victims accidently back/walk into a dark figure while they scurry around in the dark right before the a big ana matronic hand would grab you and bongo bongo eye would burn bright red mwhaha but alas I am not made of money =/ oh well

Great thing about Zelda games though, they can have that fun uplifting friendly atmosphere and then nose dive into a chilling horror game just like that.
