I just got the 32gb Zune HD last week. So far I LOVE IT! Right now I'm looking for a docking station with speakers so that I can listen without headphones. I've searced Amazon and some other sites. Do any of you who owns a Zune HD have any suggestions?

The Ipod touch is definitely better. with hd camera and a display so good your eyes cant detect each individual pixel. also has facetime!!! bad app store for zune hd, but good for ipod touch.

But if you want something that's more socially centered, with internet, web content, and picture and video sharing and with music thrown in, get the iTouch. I personally don't care for apps upon apps, have a camera and I like legal free music. So I chose the Zune HD

It's not really fair to compare the Zune HD to the iPod touch mainly because everyone compares it to the 3rd Gen iPod Touch. iPod is Generations ahead so you really need to compare the Zune to the very 1st ever iPod Touch. I say that the Zune HD pimp slaps the original iPod since its being compared to the newer iPod. iPod had plenty of time to get where they are now and everyone is pissed because Micorsoft barely released a touch device when there is a established touch screen device already

The apps don't suck, there's just a lack of them for now. microsoft has said that when windows mobile 7 comes out the marketplace for windows mobile will combine with the zune HD market place.
It now sends files through the cloud to other Zune profiles, which can then be downloaded onto a Zune HD.
The Tegra chip is called the Tegra APX2600, with a 600MHz Arm11 CPU and a lightweight GeForce GPU, along with other separate processors for things like video processing and the like.
When choosing between that and the iTouch it's mainly just a matter of preference. The iTouch can do more though. But the Zune pass is well worth the money.
It's actually a PMP or portable MEDIA player. It plays both music, videos etc. They threw in a web browser and apps just like the iPod touch. They are both PMP's with added features. Just that the ZuneHD has a better GPU in it.
i have owned both the ipod touch 32gb and the zune hd 32gb i hate microsoft and everything about microsoft but if you want high quality music and videos go with the zune hd if you want apps then the ipod touch there is nothing better with the ipod touch other then apps and as for me why by a mp3 player for apps i want better sound and better video quality.
Why is everybody so butthurt over MP3 players? When it comes down, all you really need an MP3 player for is to play music. I enjoy the Zune HD quite a bit. I had a choice to get an iPod touch or a Zune, and I got zune. I'm not disappointed, I'm getting impatient, but I know the sun still shines outside. i think you got it the other way around. lol. ipod in my opinion has the best software. and Zune has great hardware with the Tegra Chip and OLED. now if only i can just combine both an ipod touch and a zune together. :D

It is advanced chip alot more advanced then apples chip. and the zunes Tegra chip hasnt reached its full potential yet. :D

Podcasts and other items like apps are FREE. There is no payment to connect o the marketplace. Only to buy music and regular videos such as movies, tv shows etc.

Let me reiterate. MARKETPLACE IS FREE. You get all your free podcasts as well as audiocasts from there.
It dosent have flash support so no youtube videos hopefully they integrate that in their next firmware update cuz i want to watch videos of the zune on my zune!!
you forgot to mention the radio when you said the only differences from the original zune. the radio thing is cool cuz you can tune into hd radio stations and you can even mark a song you hear on the radio and go buy it from the store later right from the actual device. you can also connect the zune device to your hd tv and watch movies and stuff from your zune, right on your tv

The reason why Microsoft didn't put the background on the main page is because the screen doesn't use any power for anything that is black on the screen. If you put a colorful picture in the background the batttery would die fast.

Games are under the "Apps" section of the menu. Yes there are some games, but by some that means there are only about 5 right now. Hopefully by Dec. they'll have a lot more.

i have owned both the ipod touch 32gb and the zune hd 32gb i hate microsoft and everything about microsoft but if you want high quality music and videos go with the zune hd if you want apps then the ipod touch there is nothing better with the ipod touch other then apps and as for me why by a mp3 player for apps i want better sound and better video quality.

Why is everybody so butthurt over MP3 players? When it comes down, all you really need an MP3 player for is to play music. I enjoy the Zune HD quite a bit. I had a choice to get an iPod touch or a Zune, and I got zune. I'm not disappointed, I'm getting impatient, but I know the sun still shines outside. You all need to grow up and stop trolling for MP3 players.

i think you got it the other way around. lol. ipod in my opinion has the best software. and Zune has great hardware with the Tegra Chip and OLED. now if only i can just combine both an ipod touch and a zune together. :D

you make a good point but i dont think that itunes runs as smoothly on a pc as it does on a mac. that being said the hardware oppinion was exactly that. i havnt researched either in depth but ive owned products from both companies. what are you talking about when you say tegra chip? this is news to me. just wonderin

yeah i know what you mean about the itunes not running as smooth as it does on a mac then on a pc. but i just love the simplicity of itunes. :D and the Tegra chip is the chip in the zune that the zune uses to process everything its the CPU. its very VERY powerful graphics wise and processing wise. It is advanced chip alot more advanced then apples chip. and the zunes Tegra chip hasnt reached its full potential yet. :D

@23joshman No you do not. The $15 a month is for unlimited MUSIC downloads.
Podcasts and other items like apps are FREE. There is no payment to connect o the marketplace. Only to buy music and regular videos such as movies, tv shows etc.

@K3NYALATRiiC3 there is NO payment fee for marketplace. There is only a fee if you have the Zune Pass. Which is unlimited downloads of music for a monthly fee.
Let me reiterate. MARKETPLACE IS FREE. You get all your free podcasts as well as audiocasts from there.

you forgot to mention the radio when you said the only differences from the original zune. the radio thing is cool cuz you can tune into hd radio stations and you can even mark a song you hear on the radio and go buy it from the store later right from the actual device. you can also connect the zune device to your hd tv and watch movies and stuff from your zune, right on your tv

The reason why Microsoft didn't put the background on the main page is because the screen doesn't use any power for anything that is black on the screen. If you put a colorful picture in the background the batttery would die fast.

That depends on what you want. If you want just a streamlined mp3 player / video player, with a few extra's get the Zune HD.
If you want a crap load of apps then get an iPod touch.

Games are under the "Apps" section of the menu. Yes there are some games, but by some that means there are only about 5 right now. Hopefully by Dec. they'll have a lot more.

When I get the ZHD, and hook it to my computer, will it automatically load all my songs I got from Zune Marketplace? I have about a 1000 songs that I got off of the Marketplace. Those songs are on my Zune30. So when I get the ZHD will my current Zune30 songs automatically synch to my ZHD?
