@hello1233280 Lol.. thats a BS description...just checked it out,and the right hand pilot is just as much allowed to land the plane... regardless of F/O rank or a captain rank.. F/O and captain is trained for approaches and landings like this one... If a F/O cant land on this one because of POSSIBLE windshear he cant land at any airport since a windshear can appear at what ever airport in the world... lol

@ollo1982 Regulations state that only the captain can land the aircraft in LPMA and even the Captain has to be certified to land there!

I was in this very plane when I came back to madeira last august, which departed from the stansted airport. then why did it land on runway 23? was that due to the crosswinds? sorry for the stupid questions.

i had a flight from porto santo to funchal and all you saw was big red letters saying to low and arrows pointing up when we came in to land at funchal one of the shortest runways you can land at with a jet
