Furthermore, I've never been more positive of anything in my life than I am of the fact that I am talking to someone who knows utterly f*ck all about that of which he speaks. Such "enlightened" rhetorical banalities are insulting to anyone who's taken the time to familiarize themself with the nuances and complexities (no matter how misguided) of traditional Marxist theory.
"Says a fella who maintains an internet identity with and frequently posts on a site that made two guys $1.65 billion for little more than eleven months worth of work."
On the scale of relative credibility, Marxism is positioned slightly behind Dianetics, Phrenology and Jimmy Snyder's unique brand of physiology. Furthermore, it's hard to tell whether Althusser's greatest manifestation of mental instability was the stragulation of his wife or his unrelenting fondness for Marxism sans empiricism.
Fallacious? Certainly not. I'm just telling you what the rest of the world (apparently even the French) already knows, including your boy Zapatero.
Jerk? Possibly. This is a subjective term to be sure. For example, you would likely be honored with the title "douchebag" in my circle of friends. Now does this mean you are ACTUALLY a douchebag? Probably not. There's no way to be sure. But this we do know: You certainly are hypocrticial and almost parodistically glib.

Wait, I don't get it. I'm sure there's supposed to be some irreverent anti-hegemonic statement here, but I can't seem to find it. It just reeks of "f*cking dumbsh*t kid." Oops... sorry: Ésta es mierda completa; matanza usted mismo.
If you had a brain cell maybe you would know that "like spinning plates" is a reference to performers who spin plates on sticks. It means that the world is chaotic and gonna blow up because there are too many idiots such as yourself
Oh no, "SufiDog" I understand Thom's petulance all too well. I'm merely lamenting the fact that privileged little upper-middle class automatonic kvetchers such as yourself buy into this "us against them", fanboy anti-capitalist Neo-Gramscian bullsh*t. This video illustrates the manifest superficiality and inherent danger combining "kids" with "politics."

You must read the work of Louis Althusser, man.

In his defense, it's very hard to criticize capitalism while living in a rather successful capitalist society (which includes benefiting from it).

it's very hard(not possible) to be a socialist or a communist when there is literally no way to do so in such a capitalistic society.

jaymckeeganbrand,
There are only two motives that can explain why someone defends capitalism:
1)He appears in the FORBES list.
-OR-
2)He is a retard.
