  • Good shooting pfc, you got Pat Tillman hero! Stop going to war for greedy, pasty, white, pedophiles like Bush, Obama, Cheney, Jacob Rothschilds, Ben Bernanke, Lloyd Blankfein, the Dupoints etc. The rich get richer and the pfc to majors get fragged. Don't you get it yet? Fuck are you people fucking dense. Read "War is a Racket" by General Smedley Butler and get your heads out.

  • @xavier9706 yea, i heard the army uses the m240 more than the m249

  • guy's im just a kid , i wudnt hate on this vid , my dad's in afghan at the mo and these guys risk there life's for their countries

  • guy's im just a kid , i wudnt hate on this vid , my dad's in afghan at the mo and these guys risk there life's for their countries

  • Saving Private Ryan :D

  • As a retired Corporal I find the slander on this comment section disturbing

These guys train hard and risk their lives in battle in the name of their country.

If you're going to slander anyone in the service try doing a tour in the sandpit covering your buddies asses whilst getting shot at by Taliban and then post your comments here.

Show some respect you worthless, gutless pussies

  • uggghhh acog on a 249? lol i use an eotech easier target acquisition considering the weapons size

  • @thatrednosepit mine has a M145, i was looking at getting a EOTech but there expensive as FUCK

  • i love this gun, hope i can have one.lol

  • i fucking hate the 249 its a great weapon sytem and all but jesus the flaoting bolt its un relaiblity makes it very annoying but other than that it is plain and simple a beast the most casualty producing weapon in a fire team

  • lol..300? army has trouble shooting 200 with a 16.

they can only supress at 300-500

  • Figures that a know-nothing arrogant Jarhead would try to talk some shit, most likely having never served beside Soldiers. Please dig the broom handle out of your ass before you come try to talk shit and impress someone on YouTube, Private.

  • lol fuckin army boot tryin to talk shit to me

    have u deployed shit bag?

  • Have you been to Boot Camp yet? No. Have you even seen a recruiter yet? No. JROTC doesn't count.

  • Im prior service USMC, we arent all inbred retards. The know mouthy nothing tard you are responding to is typical of USMC infantry, he scored a 4 on his ASVAB and didnt qualify for much.

The Army does need better long range marksmanship training, however the Army does allow for more weapons training time than the USMC. USMC is all about D&C which doesnt prepare anyone for modern warfare given the fact that the civil war is over and muskets are no longer issued.

  • funny, i know ex-marines that have a hard time hitting the army's pop-up targets...

  • bullshyt

  • not much recoial huh

  • jesus -- "oh..300 (meters)...oh, wait...that's 500 (meters).." he just tips the gun a little bit & fires, and nails it... almost without thinking. Unreal.

  • the ACOG scopes (the one on his gun) has a BDC reticle which is calibrated for the 5.56X42mm round, and all you have to do is put the target on the notch that is for that range.

  • Well yeah this thing has a nice steady range but when the saw jams and when you open the hatch it BURSTS injuring the gunner.

  • wow, and you call him a 10 yr old? what are you? 11?

  • thats right bitch.

  • You also lying. You never had a molle vest. You have absolutely no insight.-

  • then you got some crappy as molle vest.

  • As you still ignore the point that i have proven u wrong. You still think your correct even though u dont have one and i do? and i dont have to do any of those? Just fill. I also lied on my back countless times and nothing broke. You fail to address that and still believe what your simple minds thinks.

  • show me a vid of some one carrying a 5 litre bottle.

You think one bottle is enough for a whole day in iraq for the soldier? You never done service or are u in the swedish army where they throw rocks?

  • Im not even legal age to do military service. But I have played milslim airsoft with MOLLE vest for years. Ive laid on it countless times. Everything works fine.

You never had molle before have u?

  • AHHAHAH.

Dude I have layed down plenty of times with my molle vest haha. Your so stupid.

  • You cant prove anything. Just stfu. I proved many points on how camelbacks are more useful and u fail to address them. Plz. just go die you european piece of shit.

  • dude u dont even have molle just stfu.

  • I have with my molle vest lol. wat do u do? tape it to yourself? Thats real hardcore lol.

You prolly dont have the money for molle vest or even kno how to use one.

    Stupid swedish racist.

  • Lying on your camelback just has much of a chance of you laying on your bottle. Fully loaded the bottle will start to crack, it wont break but its very bulky. The camelback is very strong if you fill it properly.

    Trust me.

You still dont prove my other points.

Tell me how troublesome it would be carring two litres of water in a bottle. I need around that much for a whole milslim operation.

You kno i still rather have easy to access water than a bottle that takes a long time to drink.

  • Well I saw your pics. You dont even have a molle vest. Dont talk about stuff that you havent even had exerience with.

  • Your comments just show you know nothing.

Im not in the military but im a milslim airsofter. I use authentic gear very similar to the U.S soldiers. Including the cambel back. Before I had the camelback, I didnt even have anywhere to put a bottle.

Camelback are on your back, try going prone with a water bottle. They can also store other items and have molle straps.

You have no idea of anything do u?

  • HAHAHHAHAHA. EXTRA MAINENTANCE?

What? I need to oil my water bag?

Bottles fall, and crush. Camelbacks just have to filled up with water.

IF its harder to carry? less ammo to carry, less manuverablity. Now Would you rather carry a 2 litre bottle or a camelback.

How would they break? The bags are incredibly tough.

You have to take bottles out and uncap to drink.

camelback have a tube rite next to your mouth to drink out of. Kinda useful when your in a combat situation huh?

  • well. Maybe the faggiest invention may give you that advantage on the battlefield that saves your life. Obviously you have no mind for that. What theyre suppose to go with no water in a 110 degree sandbox? Water bottles are large and a pain to carry around and the camelback can attach to their molle vest.

  • hey appreciate the whole back up with this camel back arguement ive been reading between you and someone else. but in my two tours over seas i rarely carried my camel back. reason being it's too much wait. i'll put some bottles of water in my assault pack and drink when i have downtime. camlebacks also break sometimes when stoed in the assault pack and you happen to need to sit on the dang thing. in the cold sometimes the water in the tube freezes which is very unfortunate.

  • is that little pouch on his back for water

  • yea. its called a camelback. hold 2 litres of water i believe.

  • THe acgo can be changed from 1-4x zoom fucktard, it can switch between 3 and 4. Or it can be a cqb acog with can only be 2x. Shut up and quit being know it all smartass.

  • The ACOG has a fixed zoom. It can't be changed...

  • yes that would be true and its just 1x or a different version that is 2x

  • Firing at nothing? It's a pop-up range. When he says he can't see the target, it's because it hasn't popped up yet. Hence the spotter calling targets, if you would listen to the audio. What the army needs is for a bunch of youtubers to stop deciding what the Army needs. "Firing at nothing" indeed.

  • gotta envy the support gunners

  • Actually I believe the ACOG is X4. Also, that looks like a normal aimpont. Meaning No zoom

  • negative , the ACOG scope is X3 zoom

  • Is he blind? he has an ACOG sight on it, should be able to see targets easily, ACOG = 3x zoom.

  • a live round has a projectile to push all the blast powder from the grains out of the barrel. a blank is just gun powder and when it fires...the burnt powder just sticks to the inside of the weapon and causes all kinds of jams and heat welds. and the m249 is notorious for being extremely dirty when it comes to cleaning time already.

  • This is the problem, the army is so concerned about range safety that this is considered "Training" laying in an open field firing at nothing. The military should let these guys train as they will see it in Iraq where your firing from different position and from different angles. Oh yeah using real bullets too, blanks don't do nothing but Fuck the weapon system up.

  • they do? how do they fuck up the weapons system

  • Loved that damned weapon! Qualified expert first time GO!

  • Private Ryan? Pvt James Francis Ryan from Iowa? Yes I am quoting Saving private ryan.

  • The only fun part of the army.

  • "The only fun part of the army." LOL. it made me laugh. probably true. but the army isnt about fun, thanks for the laugh :)

  • can anyone tell me what type of scope is that?

  • It looks like a Trijicon ACOG

  • Those aren't too hard to shoot. I had to qualify on one and I have seen them since basic training and that was about 7 months earlier and I still shot sharp shooter with only iron sights.

  • army of jason nice,my brother has the m249 saw right now :P i wana get the m4a1

  • where do they get those wonderfull toys?

  • m249 para...nice!

  • ur gonna die soon....

  • I can tell you are GREAT at your job! and im glad you do

  • he must not play many shooter games lol, i shot an m249 at las vegas and it was easy, 4-5 at a time, with a 3-4 second interval.

  • um hard stock? aka M249 mkII

  • sambishop195

A machine gun can be defined as:

"A machine gun is a fully-automatic mounted or portable firearm, usually designed to fire rifle cartridges in quick succession from an ammunition belt or large-capacity magazine."

FN, the company that makes the M249, coined it the "Minimi" meaning "Mini-mitrailleuse" which is French for mini-machingun.

The M249 is a light machine gun pure and simple. Stop talking out of your ass and actually do some research. Have a nice day.

  • hey thanks bro.

  • @opmike343 also a machine gun has a heavyer barrel so you can lay down much more fire without melting it.

  • Why does everything need to be politically correct all the time, we all know what he means so stop being a prick.

  • well you say you know so much about it.. for 1 its not a machine gun.. its an automatic rifle.. might wanna look in a dictionary to what a machine gun is and what a rifle is.. you might also wanna look up GUN eswel as thats a word which is incorrectly used globally

  • the FN Minimi (M249) *is* a light-machinegun, that's what Minimi means: Mini-mitrailleuse (mini-machinegun)... FN says so, they design & make them, and the Belgian Armed Forces say so, they use them and are the first to test and receive any and all FN guns.

  • yeah it's a light machinegun, and the M60 and M240 are called medium machine guns. However the position in a firing squad is usually called automatic rifleman or machinegunner.

  • umm, if he held the burst any longer, he would be doing 5 to 10 round...he was doing perfect 3 to 5 round bursts...

I miss the 249, its a beautiful weapon...but like canti757 said, the hard stock is better

  • i like the one with the hard stock better

  • That's a mighty fine piece of hardware. I'll trade you my car for it. Deal? Oh, all right, I'll even throw in a washer and dryer, and a keg fridge. Boy, you sure drive a hard bargain. I'll swing by to pick it up on thursday.
