  • the walmart family members are worth billion but yet they want give u a dime on ur paycheck what a real dam shame !!!!

  • @79563RUB then eheir mangers are just bad.

  • The right to UNION is a FEDERAL PROTECTED RIGHT/LAW--if Walmart trys to stop you from talking amongst each other about creating a local union then they, Walmart, are in violation of Federal labor laws! What they have done in the past is simply close down locations that have successfully unionized. That is their dirty little trick to get around unions and obeying the law...I AM BOYCOTTING WALMART all together until they start paying their AMERICAN WORKERS LIVABLE WAGES& respect for US labor law

  • union union union the only way

  • complaining about not enough fellow staff to help out with customers? how about the employee's that are taking their place while they go 'voice' themselves.

  • seems a bit high for such an easy job when someone who actually puts forth some effort with high labor intensity make 10 or 12.. The union has no place anywhere in my eyes. to them it's all about the money.

  • @bbbrenden

Its all about the money..........that the employees make? Hmm.... is it really bad for an organization like a union to want someone ELSE to be successful? By proxy of increased wages at Walmart, the local economy would be greatly enriched through increased tax revenue, increased business and consumerism, and the push for improved wages at other businesses which would further escalate the positive effects mentioned above.

Is that really a BAD thing?

  • I will take about the same in my pocket because of union dues on top of taxes... I was paying close to 55 buck a month to union that I could have used for something else to benefit me, the unions have done nothing but break the back of this country on top of 35% business tax rates it makes business move overseas, the union once had it's time and place and they no longer have a place in america, people at international where I live make over $20hr operating an air wench putting lugs on a truck.

  • @bbbrenden

Such a good comedian! I mean, the non-unionized workers doing the same work you did received far less than you, even if one factors out the 55 dollar monthly expense. Back when Union membership accounted for nearly 30% of the labor force, our economy was robust and strong because everyone had a bit more in their pocketbook and possessed actually EQUITY, something that today's bank mortgaged and auto-leased society can only dream of.

    Sure....its the UNION's fault! Hilarious!

  • @bbbrenden

The corporations only went overseas because they can pay the people pennies, force them to live on sight, and dump toxins in the land, waters, and air that cause numerous deaths and countless safety issues.

If you want that here and let little Jane and Tommy drink brown sewer water, than make it clear that you support that.

Otherwise, the other alternative is import tariffs. You'll see those plants come right back!

  • I work at walmart and I have to say that if people boycott my store and don't go I lose hours... so you think you are doing the people good by boycotting, you are just cutting employee hours. I worked at Kroger which is union and I got minuscule hours, treated unfairly, and had to pay the worthless union at that store which did nothing but take from the employees.. All unions do is take money from the business and employees that they could be using, Me making 7.80 n hour and a union making ten^

  • Go Workers! Go labor rights! Go America!

Power to you, Unions, & to the CEO that realizes how strong, long lasting, & profitable a company can be when workers are treated fairly (fair = decent wages/health benefits/pensions)!

  • I think it is awesome how they pull together to make it better.Corporate America should not line the pockets of greedy CEOs. They dont do the work. The employees do. I feel like a company should be like a happy family.

  • It's great to see the associates at Walmart pull together to foster change within the company. I must admit, I don't shop at Walmart because of how they treat their staff, and what they do to the communities they build in. I support the workers' struggle, but I'll never spend a penny at a Walmart.

  • I have to wonder how many of these guys are still employed by Wal Mart.

  • Willow Groves PA supercenter imported a manger (Bishop) who systematically fired dozens of employees over a two year period 2009-2010 for usually no valid reason! Unionization may have provided some protection from this tirade!

  • Wal-Mart destroys communities... PERIOD.

  • unions just take money you would get without them , why pay some one to talk 4 you dumb save your money get a diff job your luckyto have one

  • @pimp6979 well I for one do not have a job I am unable to work bcuz of the work injury that i got while employes at walmart and i now struggle to take care of my children bcuz of this stupidity, and I may not b able to work again. Evne tho walmart feels they shouldnt have to pay me while i recover from this injury do to overworking and no respect for the individual(continuing to push even with work restrictions) I am not giving up I will continue my fight and voice my thoughts on working at

  • @pimp6979 walmart and supporting those that are willing to stand up to them and fight for their rights

  • I support Unions, and I come from a Union family, but the UFCW is one of the most top-down, business unions that exist in the U.S. Walmart workers should organize with more Democratic and bottom-up unions such as the IWW.

  • It was heartening to see Walmart employees ("associates") articulating the problems they've experienced and observed. Still, it seems the company has fallen far from the ideals outlined by its founder, whose "buy American" campaign I remember. Walmart has had a deleterious effect on the entire supply chain and its workers, from workers in the developing and Third-World countries that manufacture the goods sold by Walmart, to the retail industry in this country.

  • An injury to one is an injury to all. Keep the faith and continue to organize at Walmart. We, your customers, are behind you 100%.

  • store treated the associates and yes everything in this video is true there is NO respect for the individual. We are over worked under payed and we take the bullshit from the customers not management. SAM WALTON WOULD NOT LIKE WHAT HAS BEEN DONE TO HIS COMPANY!!!!!! WalMart is no longer the family store that it use to be.

  • I was a walmart associate for almost 7 yrs and was terminated due to a disabled son, and a work related injury I followed the proper procedures and filled out the intermittant leave package as needed but WalMart did not follow company policies at all. After I was fired a assit manager stopped me in the parking lot a few days later and informed that the store manager told all the assits that they were to get rid of me any way they could(this asst was no longer there do to the way the

  • I, too, have boycotted Walmart for years. Andrea said it all. Also, I suggest to everyone I can that they not shop at Walmart. Horrible, horrible company.

  • I've been boycotting Walmart for their shady practices for years. They ruin not only individual's lives, but entire communities.

  • What we have to stop shopping there and inform all your friends to do the same. Pass this information to every one telling them that Walmart is not a fair employer and until they change their attitude and allow the employees to unionize we wont shop there.

  • I don't shop Walmart. Walmart has done poorly for the last nine quarters. I didn't do it all by myself.

  • @tla0866 at your first comment made there are still a lot of places that aren't hiring, those hours they get are forced on them they don't except them.

  • Keep up the good fight. Get all Walmart workers to join and then shut the whole chain down. Management will only respect you if you stand strong. They have a duty to their share holders to make as much money as possible. That means working you guys as HARD as you will possibalbe tolerate. Only by changing the economics of the situtation, by getting the support of CUSTOMERS in your struggle will the situation change. UNIIONS made this country truely live up to it's constitutional values.

  • Wait, that woman, an adult employee has to ask to go to the bathroom? That is disrespectful.

  • It's the CUSTOMER that matters to Walmart.......so, if I INSIST AND DEMAND that they treat their workers better....there is a chance that they will listen...in fear of the b word...! (boycott)

  • You guys made an excellent video..! Great Job! The public is behind the employees, and want you to get a FAIR wage.... Can employees also purchase stock in Walmart??? ???

  • The problem is that they can't pay their workers well, b/c all they sell is crap. Try to find an alarm clock made in the U.S.A. The zippers on anything they sell are terrible. If they charged more to pay the workers more, we'd wonder where is the quality? They started as a "made in America" company. What happened? Everything's made in China. I would pay more for better quality items. If I want cheap, I can go to Aldi. I am held hostage by Walmart, living in a small town...nowhere else to shop.

  • that's a very ignorant response, tla0866. Walmart undercuts their workers deliberately to boost profits. Delve a little deeper and you'll that Walmart's negligence is a company police. It's easy to just dismiss people as bitchy complainers. Attitudes like yours are one of the biggest reasons why better changes for workers are held back too often. I wish you peace and knowledge.

  • @koreysimeone First of all Walmart is a company running a business. Maybe news to you, but businesses are out to make a profit. Nothing wrong with that at all! Now, should you treat your employees well? Of course, but not to just give everyone whatever they want because they feel they deserve it. What have you done to EARN it? I wish you peace and an education.

  • @tla0866 Well, I must tell you, that reasoning is why this country will be a backwater in 20 yrs. A place where only the top 2% can afford to do anything and the rest of us struggle our whole lives for scraps. You already see it happening. Profits cannot be the only goal, at the expense of human dignity. Incidentally, the powers that be love that you think this way, tla. They've caught you and they're smiling. You do their job for them. Way to go. These people aren't asking for much, are they?

  • @tla0866 Obviously you NEED the education. To defend Walmart practices at all proves you are a right wing corporate loving fool. Profits mean everything to those with your attitude and workers mean nothing. Sam Walton is spinning in his grave.

  • I don't get it.. why does Walmart "owe" you anything? If you don't like your job, or are not getting what you need i.e. enough hours, pay or schedule, then you have the option to leave and find another job. They don't owe you anything except the pay that YOU agreed to, the hours that YOU accepted. Where have we come to as a nation? Why do these people feel so entitled? Work hard, quit bitching, and maybe you can EARN a promotion and more money....

  • @tla0866 Perhaps there is something wrong with your attitude... Looking to people who are asking more of their society and taking it on offense. Why not look to the other parts of the world where things are so much better than in the US and ask "why ISN'T it better?" How can anyone be offended and say "find a new job" when this success could mean more respect and fairer treatment for the working class as a whole? Why not believe PEOPLE ARE ENTITLED and get the country out of the gutters!

  • Too bad you dont say what stores they work at. At least we'd know which stores have positions available. Fortunately, unemployment will probably see through whatever excuse they use for firing them so they won't be completely without income.

  • I used to work at Sams Club in Cleveland OH.Then Costco opened a new store down the road, i applied there and got the job! they started of at 11.50/hour... if you work over 40 hours a week you get DOUBLE Time, On a sunday if you worked you got Time and a half! The pay was great, and they treated every one with amazing respect.... I didn't know such a place exsisted.

so if costco can do it... so can walmart.

  • Iv been in my locol union for 18 years,(TEAMSTERS CA) IV been through a strike and won. In my opinion union is the way to go.. many companys try to say thay cant pay for union wages but when u look at there books and the company make over 180 millions in the first quater (all profit) well i think thats a slap in the face...wal-mart works should pull TOGETHER and get a union in there work place. you guy should start out around $14 bucks and max out around $20.. IT WOULD BE A FIGHT BUT ITS DOABLE.

  • This is great. Keep up the good work WalMart employees and UFCW

  • everyone starts off part time at walmart.. If you work hard and show that you are an asset to their company they will give you full time and you will get promotions.. my husband worked there 4 yrs, started at $9 an hour, is now running peronel dept as a training coordinator making $12 and hour, and he has several stores offering him asst manager positions. to make 42,000 a yr. It's all about how hard you work.. just being a cashier is not ideal if you want to advance yourself. good luck

  • @MrJeggus Pantie wearing Horses Ass See 2 can play the name game... But I Tell the Truth about Unions and the only response is NAME CALLING? It is Because you can not defend on the merits. Not all unions are bad but to force unions is just wrong as is Thug tactics against companies that do not want unions

  • @MrJeggus Got the proof...He lived in UNION Indiana and I worked in NON UNION Louisiana. Got the stubs to back it up JACKASS. I had better medical without all the crap. Both of us drove trucks so before you call me a liar and a ungrateful POS Look in the Mirror and smell yourself. TRUTH HURTS and UNIONS are on the way out. Only 7% of American workers and without OBAMA it would be less. I hated my Dad getting Robbed weekly from this UNION and JUST SAD he got nothing at Death

  • i work for walmart,i started june of 2008,i tried to transfer to vero beach florida,i was interviewed for unloader position on oct 22 2010,,,dident get the job,my status ended on nov 1st 2010then i was told i needed to start all over with filling out an application,,which i did ,and i was interviewed again,i got the job ,but i was hired part time and instead of the 8.80 i was makeing per hour, i was hired at 7.70 an hour ,then had to sign paper minimum wage increased,,,what a slap in face

  • this would have a lot more weight if there was a Union to back it up.

  • Workers also need a common day off. This day was on Sunday. The workers need to fight to get stores closed on Sundays and Holidays. It's not only about the money. It's about having time to spend with their families. Visit our channel as we discuss the day of rest.

  • Organize! Organize! Organize! Organize! Organize! Organize! Organize! Organize!

  • I hope and pray one day Walmart gets the shit kicked out of them by other retailers that put their best foot forward and show them how things should be done. My hatred for this company is immense. Stand strong Walmart associates, don't take their shit ANYMORE!!!! God Bless you folks!

  • Walmart should also be ashamed of themselves in how they have flooded their stores with Chinese goods. The only folks I pity are the ones that rely on Walmart as their only source of income. Walmart takes their dedicated employees and beats them into submission with no remorse. One of their mottos is "take their money, they will return." Totally fueled by greed. Nothing else.

  • I worked for Walmart. They are viscous money grubbing scum that chew up employees and spit them out. Walmart does not want long term dedicated employees because they would have to pay them better. Their insurance plans suck, their working conditions and atmosphere sucks. Walmart is the absolute worst company to work for period. I hope they one day their greedy ways backfire on them. Go to Hell Walmart, you viscious rotten bastards.

  • It's amazing how Wal-Mart now argues that they are the biggest supporter of the common man, because they provide prices lower than mom and pops shops used to charge--that they just happened to put out of business. Now, that's a SPIN.

  • Don't forget Democrat Hillary Clinton was on the board of Wal-Mart for years and did nothing for the common worker. When asked about it, she always avoided details. But she did rake in a big salary on the backs of workers while also collecting stock dividends after given free preferred stock.

  • i will never believe in the capitalist structure because it will never stand for the common person. It will only serve for the elites of this world

  • Trust me, it is not only Walmart that treats the employees like this. Try working for a company for 30 years as a manager then to have your position eliminated and told you could take a job with the same responsibilities and make half of what you were making.

  • i dont work for walmart, sub contracted, not directly for walmart but everything mentioned here matches with what i see when i provide work for the store. Understaffed, underpayed, underhoured, and they are expected to meet certain quotas, the management is nice, but i do have a problem with they're fear based strategies as I have seen a WalMart Manager FIRED FOR VOICING OUT HIS HONEST OPINION ABOUT ACUSATIONS AGAINST HIM. Also nobody is allowed to talk of it by policy or they will be terminated

  • @True2TheBlueYoViGang

ran out of space and could not mention those "quotas" they have to meet are HOURLY quotas now you know damn well that's hard to do when your horrendously undestaffed. The problem with Wal-Mart is that its a wonderful place to work I find nothing wrong with working there, or being an employee there. It's a great place to work... they have benefits retirements opportunities for promotions its great but the problem is what is mentioned here in video Pay Hours and RESPECT!

  • Comment removed

  • As Wal-Mart Sporting Goods Department Manager I was not provided or entered into the Wal-Mart required training program. That consisted of four weeks, 32 pages and was required to be initialed, and signed by myself, trainer, and personnel. However, they terminated me under the heading of "inability to perform job." After 3 1/2 years, 31 letters, 17 You Tube Videos bostongbr, and still WM Presidents and Chairman of WM Board of Directors along with their twelve member s still ignores me.

  • This is great and I encourage people who are concerned about their fellow workers to take an active part in You Tube, and creating blogs to get the truth into the hears of the American People and other people around the globe.

  • If they really wanted jobs for All Americans they would not have a lawsuit against building airplanes in S.c. look at the latest car built UAW had to start workers at a very low wage JUST TO GET JOBS. We AMERICANS in the right to work states do better work for less and thats why the jobs are RUNNING from unions and many going Overseas to make profit. Walmart WILL raise prices for EVERYONE but JUST UNIONS get the added extra cash. Shame on the scam of unions This country is 7% union needs to be 0

  • Unions are in it for the dues and salaries of the top leaders. My Dad was Union all his working life And I worked in the south without unions. He made $30 an hour and I made $26 even with his long union membership. Both driving trucks and yet the last 15 years he has been on strike and or company closed due to union demands. He died a broke man but the Unions got their Dues every week. I kept my job with the same benefits and NEVER WENT ON STRIKE OR COLLECTED UNEMPLOYMENT. Liers and theves

  • @godzmanjesusanswers ...You got $26 an hour BECAUSE of Unions...Were it not for the "threat" of "the union"

they'd be paying you $2 an hour like they do in the oppressed Third World Countries.

Unions are the ONLY thing keeping wages at a Half Decent level, believe me.

  • @naryaquid Got $26 an hour WITHOUT UNIONS. My Dad got strike pay and or unemployment. I made MORE MONEY per Year than HE did after dues taken out and time off due to stikes. I have made a great living without the THUGS and Corupt Union. Look at the Long Shoremen in the northwest...Hostage Takers and riots to destruction of property...And thats because they used another UNION. Proof is in the actions of UNION THUGS

  • @godzmanjesusanswers I've been Union for almost 15 years, and have never come across an instance of "union thugs", ALL of my experiences have been diplomatic rather than brute force, the benefits of a Union job are far more than just the hourly check.

  • @my7o If you are not old enough to remember the nation wide TRUCKER strikes. I got my truck windshield busted out and shot at 3 times. My Dad stayed on strike and almost lost his home because he was Union. Look on google about Union stikes of the past and Watch TV for the Union destruction in the railyard in the Northwest. Glad your Union is a benefit but if you can get the SAME PAY and got to KEEP your dues...You do the math how much it adds up over 15 years...Buy a Boat or Take a Vacation???

  • "Only in it for the dues and salaries"...Well, they can't run the unions for NOTHING, and anyway, their "dues and salaries aren't SHIT next to the multi-million dollar salaries and perks made by CORPORATE CEOs.....Don't be stupid..

  • This is all well and good...and I'd like to think that this will change things but it's really just pissing into the wind. I've been with Wal Mart five years and I agree with all the complaints these people brought up. In the end though Wal Mart is too big and too entrenched in its ways to change.

  • If you don't like working for Walmart , quit job and quit the bitching

  • @hanksnow82 If you don't like this video then don't watch it

  • @PikesPeakOcean How would you know if you like the video or not if you don't watch it ? What you really mean is don't express an opinion if it's not the same as yours and the union .

  • Trust me, Your opinion is broadcast on the air quite a Bit, just listen to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, ann coulter, and god knows what other rednecks are on the air.

  • @PikesPeakOcean redneck another way of Saying Dirty Jew or N*******

  • i work and Liberal Leftest do speak for me. i will never bow to any union and walk across any strike picket line i choose to.

God bless the 2nd Amendment and Castle Doctrine

  • The 2nd amendment has nothing to do with the right to form a Union, looks to me like you have had one too many jars of Moonshine

  • @PikesPeakOcean their is no constitutional right to form a union but the 2nd Amendment does help protect my self from Obamas SS Union thugs

  • @freedombase You're Drunk, and you're blabbering about something that hasnothing to do with this, perhaps you need to go to your Ku Klux Klan Meetings, drink more moonshine, and ask your sister for another date.

  • @PikesPeakOcean i do not drink. i am not Robert Byrd a grand dragon in the kkk and Democrat Leader. And i do not have a sister. More Epic Fail on your part

  • Walmart needs to return to its roots

  • There is ONLY one way for these people to get respect from criminal Walmart. That's unions. It's the ONLY way. They need to go to their state governments and demand the right to unionize without fear.

  • Union for all walmart employees!!!

  • Sign Up and help fight for Respect in the Workplace !

  • FINALLY! Nice to see workers pulling together to demand respect and change from corporate America. Walmart, you are on notice.
