I would get blades if only because as awesome as blaster is, he's just a repaint of soundwave, which is fine, but being a cybertronian jet and him not having a 'minicon' that resembles any of his original cassettes make him less attractive to me than blades does. Though if you can get both blaster is a very nice figure. if you don't already have the soundwave version (maybe even if you do)

I like the altmode of Springer. Nice use of paint and just like Roadbuster, they have painted whole limbs the "correct" colour, rather than just use the de-facto colours of the molded plastic. My only gripe is that the chest should have been yellow with a nice Autobot symbol, plus they could have used another, darker green, red and silver accents to make the bot mode more interesting. I hope there are some upgrade kits for this guy, like a new face/head, guns, sword and chest.

yeah it is just your springers legs i have blades and the legs are harder to pull down so theres notin that big to worry about on springer and hes cool i just got the roadbuster set and i wanna get that springer set now since i saw wat he really looks like out of packaging

i saw this guy in target yesterday..was the only one on the shelves and grabbed it right away. I initially wanted this two pack for ratbat..but springer ended up being a more favorite of a figure for me. And yea my knees that slide up and down are a bit loose too...not too much that he slides down when standing there...but still a bit looser then i'd like

The legs don't lock when slid down on my Springer either. Which is a shame. I think that's the only thing I don't really like about him. This figure is my first time owning any Cybertron mold (well him and Ratbat, who I absolutely LOVE) and I was very impressed with it.
