yes, my friend did convert. it's the current law in malaysia if a non-muslim marries a muslim. he had to sacrifice a lot and is now bounded by the muslim law & restrictions but that proves how much is his love to her. i don't know about outside malaysia though.
My chinese christian guy friend just married my muslim malay friend yesterday, religion can't stop sincere love. Everyone of the family respected each other's religion and there is so much love in the atmosphere. They celebrated their wedding in a mixed culture, both malay and chinese culture. I think there is no problem with sophia and this korean guy. If the guy really loves sophia, he will accept her together with her religion and culture. Yes people. He knows that she is a muslim, but still, he chose her. He was told that she can't even drink a single drop of alcohol, but he proposed to her anyways. So that means he have no objection of converting if he really wants to be with her. God bless this couple, if they're still together

i wish this could happen to me. >.< ive been trying to find a guy for at least 3 years (16) and id love to be in a show like this (talk shows & whatnot). recently ive been accepted into a play called Chicago as the lead lawyer Billy Flynn (mans role) and im willing to do my best. i hope it jumpstarts my career to be a famous singer/dancer/actor so i can meet a lot more different people, race- and language-wise. ive also been teaching myself korean and so far i think im good. x3 gamsahabnida. <33

yes, my friend did convert. it's the current law in malaysia if a non-muslim marries a muslim. he had to sacrifice a lot and is now bounded by the muslim law & restrictions but that proves how much is his love to her. i don't know about outside malaysia though.

My chinese christian guy friend just married my muslim malay friend yesterday, religion can't stop sincere love. Everyone of the family respected each other's religion and there is so much love in the atmosphere. They celebrated their wedding in a mixed culture, both malay and chinese culture. I think there is no problem with sophia and this korean guy. If the guy really loves sophia, he will accept her together with her religion and culture. But as long as she is outside of Malaysia, she has the freedom to do as she pleases. But officially she will remain a Muslim and if he marries her, he has to too.

As a fellow Muslimah, I feel proud lah for Sophia, sebab walaupun dia kat Korea bukan untuk suka2, untuk belajar and kerja untuk belajar.
