Earlier in his career I think he kind of got caught up in all the talk and hype. He was a beast, but was careless with the ball. Now he takes care of the ball but he just has a look in his eyes that says, "I won't be denied." I really think that NFC title game got to him with the 2 fumbles and botched handoff. Even in 2010, when his stats weren't as good, I told everyone that he was running harder than he had in his whole career. The team around him just wasn't as good.

Usually with a back you get power and strength or you get speed and quickness but hardly ever the combination of both. He is dangerous because you get it all with AD. I would say his running style is a combination of Walter Payton and Eric Dickerson. He runs like a wild animal and never takes a play off.

I watch the guy run and its pure perfection. He attacks the line with awareness and always hits the whole, something few running backs, maybe none do like AP. He has the elusivness of a Tomlinson, the stiff arm of a corey dillion, and has unbelieveable break away speed. He is the total package. BEST PLAYER IN THE NFL. Period and I would love to have him on the Pats lol.

You can't say a RB is "GREAT" based on production alone. A good RB with a great O-line can lead the league in rushing. AP doesn't have a great O-line like Johnson, Foster or MJD yet he continues to break runs and make plays.

That's a what GREAT players do. They make plays despite not having the best supporting cast.
