I remember playing this as a child, and as soon as I saw this I shut my Genesis off so fast and never picked up the game again in my life...I soon forgot about the game, and this just brought bad memories back to the surface. That game ruined me for some time.

Here is some advice for beating Mr. Freeze at the begining because I heard a lot of people say that he was hard. First, stand behind the diamond until he is away from the stairs because if you fight him on the stairs, he will kick your ass and standing behind the diamond protects you from his shots. Just kick him, don't bother punching. I actually think this game has the best game over screens that I have ever seen in a video game.

Actually, in recent years. Game over screens have been obsolete. It's usually mission failed, and you go back to your checkpoint to finish. There's no point in making you start over after dedicating so much time.

I don't mind a "mission failed screen". I can even enjoy a few details to spice it up ("Snake ? Snake ????? Snaaaaaaaaaaake !"). But come on... We don't need to see our character being tortured to death (except maybe in some survival horror, where this is to be expected).

Well its a Batman game and kids love superheroes so if bthey make sure kids can buy it they will earn lots more money.

But its obvious that this game was made for older people because its so hard even adults got big problems beating it.

I heard they wanted to make the game more similar to the comics than the movie so thats why its so dark.

the gameplay was pritty good. It was kinda like a free roam game. You could go nearly anywhere in gotham city and stop and fight gangs on the streets and then go in the batmobile back to the batcave. It was a pritty good game.

HELL of a loat better than the movie. I went into the place in gotham where there are a load of white buildings, and there was this boarded up train place. I went in and heard the same music you hear in combat. thin these wierd zombie things showed up on the screen. scared out of my mind! still awseome.
