Transliteration isn't an accurate way of conveying the similarity between a Hebrew word and a name.
There is a word in English "Slut", and there is a word in Swedish "Slut". They are spelled the same, yet they do not come from the same word, and they don't mean the same thing.
In your case, Muhammad has no relation to the word "mkhmdim". "IM" in a word usually is a pluralization, like how the english "s" at the end of a word means "more than one".
