What I loved about this game was how clean the graphics were. It was the first Zelda game on the gamecube and it's definitely better graphically then Twilight Princess, the first Zelda game on the Wii. That's a good accomplishment.
It wasnt better graphically, it just looked alot cleaner. But remember in real life everything isnt as clean as it was in wind waker :p I dont know if you played TP because it looked rather amazing. Maybe because you played GC version not Wii or something.
The fact still remains that ALL zelda is amazing. A zelda game has YET to dissappoint me. Since day one of Their first game, I have loved zelda. (CDi doesnt count)
Unlike sonic, this is a series I never want to see die.
TP simply looked more dark and "depressing" than wind waker, perhaps that had something to do with it.
Who knows!
Just cant wait for the next one. Didn't hear about zelda at E3 this year.. But they promised they are working on the next one last year and the year before.
Maybe next year.. Or october fall summit this year..
check out earthboundings vids, they r talking about another zelda 4 wii. b4 anything was released about spirit tracks, they knew about, so i'd say it's pretty accurate!

You're right, WW looked very clean and I just liked it's graphics more then the TP graphics. Although, both games were brilliant.
And I agree, the want to game to go on forever :P
