If I use cubase 5 as my DAW and I'm using a VSTI instrument can I use maschine to play midi notes/patterns instead of having a keyboard ?

yes if you program it to triger those pads , there's not mutch you cant do its all down to programing and set up, midi cables ect

thanks mate , no havnt sussed geting scenes to trigger in cubase yet, but have heard that they are working on a update for that.

just exported the different parts in to cubase and on from there.
