I can't begin to describe how badly I want this car! :-D

It's style-wised like my other fav (Aston Martin DB9/Rapide; Fisker as a designer) but completely electric (can you say torque/RPM ftw!)... sooo awesome! I'm sure I could add the Db9 sound as a 'ring tone' for the moments I would desire the Aston sound in a tunnel or so. ;-D

The limited reccources of Lithium are a Problem. But the new technology of zinc air Accus is not really fully developed up to now. But ReVolt has already designed a rechargabe Zinc Air battery. The only Problem is that it isn't in that stage that it can be used for EV's. So I think that Tesla will built in Lithium Batteries until the Zinc Air Technology becomes available for EVs. Then I think It will be only a matter of taking the LION Battery out of the car and plugging the new Zinc Battery in

Shannon, I wish you could have asked Elon about Lithium-ion batteries.. There is not enough lithium on the planet to manufacture millions of battery packs, such as the ones in the S model and Roadster. Zinc Air rechargable is a new technology that will provide three times the power density, compared to Lithium -ion. and at a lower cost. That will mean a 700 + mile range with power to spare.. Why isn't Tesla working on the battery problem (the most costly part of the vehicle)?

The thing I found it all a bit silly was that Mr. Leterman IS a Tesla owner himself at the time of that broadcast. That is in part why he seems to know a bit about it. Not entirely though as he slagged off the Volt in front of Mr. Musk trying to get a reaction from him to also slag off a potential competitor but Elon just smiled and ignored it. It got Bob Lutzs' attention though - pissed him off - and then Letterman gave him some air time later on too.

red car glitched at the end a bit, he had to do a bit more of a swirve to round it out. Also at the end notice that the bell boy on the right tries to wave to the models. Easy. Slow down, cut the wheel and nail the accelerator. Only works with RWD manual.
