Hey, I just happened to see ur video and I was wondering if u could give me some tips on stretches to get my spinning hook kick and my spinning wheel kick higher?
@JesusLovesKarate hey there. I have two tutorials on stretching, static and dynamic stretching. try to check em out in my channel. my biggest tip is to stretch often, warm up well beforehand, and always use dynamic stretching techniques prior to kicking until your legs are well conditioned. :) good training!
if you want to kick harder then bend your body down it will be a little bit slower but will have more effect btw.. I'am a Martial Art master with 9th degree in tae kwon do. :)
@Majesttkd hi Majestic. I'm assuming you practice WTF taekwondo, which usually drops the body more for extension and power. My background is a bit different. I've practiced that version of the kick, but I'm happy to compromise that bit of extra power to maintain posture/balance and recovery. From my experience this is a more effective fighting technique when no rules, or non tkd rules apply. congrats on the 9th dan.
Thanks for sharing and subscribing to my channel I will do same....Have a great day! and take care.
