i dont know about that. The 80GB iPod classic is about the same price.

It may not have wifi, etc, but 80GB of music, videos, games, etc is worth it more than the iPod Touch.

the ipod touch is mad cool but it can easily get scratches and fingerprints on the back the same problem occured with ipod nano 1st gen. until they came out with ipod nano 2nd gen. does anybody know if they will be making and ipod touch 2nd generation?

I don't think so... even if it did, the iPod Touch will loose its elegance. Same with the iPod Video, imagine it... big with the iPod mini look. It just doesn't fit.

Even if it comes out I'll much prefer the glassy looking one.

I actually looked it up because if Apple was going to put out a new one anytime soon, I was going to wait. However, from my research, a 2nd generation iPod touch isn't going to come out anytime in the near future. The SHORTEST time I found was late 2008 but that was only one article.
