  • I went to school with Lorries cousin. Her Aunt which was her dads twin lived the next street over from us when I was growing up. I helped my brother with a paper route and they were a customer and every now and then, there was a white caddy from Tn. Her uncle passed away a couple years ago.

  • WHO THE HELL DISLIKES THIS!!!! Non-American CluckTards....

  • @NephilimFree My sympathies on your loss. My mom passed 2 years ago, and sometimes it seems like it has been forever, sometimes it feels like yesterday. may God Bless You in your time of Sorrow.

  • For those who forgot, this is Lorrie's answer to Kieth's "Tell Lorrie I Love Her" suicide "note". God Bless Lorrie and Kieth.

  • @txsrowdy10 I wasn't aware that he left a suicide note. He died from alcohol poisoning, right?

  • @sweetcharlie63 Do you know what the quotation marks stand for? I put the marks around the word note to denote it wasn't an actual note. The song was the note. How much are we spending on public education these days? What ever it is, it's wasted.

  • @txsrowdy10... do you know what the middle fingers of both my hands stand for? That's how much public education will get you.

  • love this women voice!!

  • It brings back memories :)

  • How come CMT can play songs like this anymore, i'm not fond of new country music nowadays

  • I wish CMT would play any music nowadays, let alone great stuff like ths

  • My wife can sing this song very well in karaoke

  • This song is in same category as "He Stopped Loving Her Today.." by George Jones...these songs will cut you like a knife....miss this music alot.

  • Ever think that she was singing this for Kieth. Just a thought!

  • @maggiesmom2007 It's hard to say that,but,listening to i,I can't beg to differ...

  • @maggiesmom2007

Maybe because George Jones originally recorded this song.

  • @maggiesmom2007 you're so right. This song empties my heart and fills my eyes.

  • LONLELY

  • THE BEST OF ALL

  • yes she so darn beautiful and has a very strong and positive understanding voice...

  • Lorrie was born to sing this song! She is the ultimate!

  • I absolutely love Lorrie Morgan. She is so talented & beautiful as well!

    Nice upload. Thanks :-)

  • i still think this song is the most beautiful song in the world???????????????/

  • this is nice.

  • Watch this video. Then watch JOEY HEATHERTON Sings in TV Special (1973), posted by Luvinthe60s. Isnt it (almost) like watching the same person? Ive always suspected that Joey secretly mentored and coached Lorrie Morgan. Lorrie became a huge country star only after imitating Joeys look and style.

  • While I can understand you re thinking. I have to politely disagree. While Joey was great in her own right. A window in Laugh In she could not metor anyone. She was a sexy and beautiful woman that fell in love with the wrong man. Rememer Lance the Flash? But on the same scale as Lorrie Morgan Get Real Brother.

  • LOL...that's the dumbest thing I've ever read here. Lorrie's father was a huge country star. I imagine that's where she got her coaching.

  • Theres a story of when Lori first met Heatherton. Joey performed in a TV show (1975?) that was televised from the Opry. Larry Gatlin was another guest. Joey brought the house down. Standing Os. Being an Opry brat, teenage Lori was backstage watching the whole thing. Said Joey was the most beautiful, glamorous movie star shed ever seen. Ask Opry members. Ask Marty S. Some years later, when Heathertons career is over, suddenly Lori pops up looking just like her. Dumb, I dunno.

  • thanks ramey for sharing. I love Lorrie Morgan!Fine singer!

  • Lorrie does a fabulous job on this, only my opinion but it's as good as Jones', she deserves more recognition, but if I'm honest Vern Gosdin's intro on his version is to die for Thanks to Mark for sending it, it's now one of my favourites

  • I really like this version. She does it so well

    Thank for this one Mark

  • lorrie has always been a fave of mine, thnx mark for sending my way

  • She certainly does a beautiful job on this song. And it is a great song.

  • Beautiful.

  • Beautiful job on this old George Jones song. Hard to believe she dated Troy Aikman (6"5") when she is barely 5 feet tall.(I wonder how that worked.) But what an out-sized, beautiful voice.

  • She does do a great job on this one. I've always loved Lorrie. So sad about her late husband Keith Whitley. But I know that was years ago, and she's moved on. Does she still do concerts I wonder?

  • You want to talk about the Queen Of Country Music? Ladies and gentlemen I nominate the fabulous MS Lorrie Morgan. She has the voice and certainly the beauty. She has the heartbreak and bullshit in her life to qualify her for this honor. So come on you pompous assholes of the vote. Get real and get balls. LOL Even Lorrie has bigger balls than you do. Love ya Lorrie

  • love her and jones singing it about equal i would say

  • Lovely lady turned 50 on June 27. Belated Happy Birthday!!

  • Omg! I'm five days older than her! She's always been a fav of mine.

  • Lorrie is just incredible! She just does this song, and so many others, like no one else.

  • Thx Eva very much!

    A lovely countrysong..

  • My mamaw just had this played at my papaw's funeral. I'm going to bawl every time I hear this song.
