Why would Paula be that concerned about a homeless guy on the street? She pushes thru her Sunday sermon and doesnt even stay for altar calls....too busy getting out of there before end of service! Church full of moderate to low income members. And maybe next time it is good to give homeless money PLUS tract introducing them about the Lord.

@darealis1 Proverbs 31:9, "Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy" Claiming to "offer assistance" to the homeless is not the same as pleading the cause of the poor or actually doing something that makes a positive impact on those who are poor and needy. I've worked for churches large and small in food ministry, I've seen churches, such as this one, that merely pander but there are no real needs being met. Great video NYTN, thanks for sharing.

My point is simply, unless you personally are INTIMATEL ACQUAINTED with the ALL of the ministries of assistance that WITHOUT WALLS offers then you are making an assumption & or accusation based upon your LIMITED INFORMATION. But to verbally attack ANY MINISTRY, or ANY PASTOR without you personally knowing WHAT THEY DO regarding the homeless or the needy is dangerous. They could very well be spending $500,000 a year on services for the needy. We tend to make assumptions about what they are doing; or not doing; which is dangerous. When we do this we are sewing discord, causing division, speaking evil of others and pre-judging them (while lacking information regarding the facts.) Sir, I don't have a probelm with you personally. My problem is that I studied journalism in college and I know what OBJECTIVE REPORTING IS. I get irritated when individuals make so-called REPORTS or STATEMENTS without obtaining the WHOLE TRUTH (Mainstream Media Reporters or Wanna-be Reporters). Thank you my brother for exposing the wickedness of both the local government and the so called Christians and the leaders in the community in Tampa, Fla. We know that "GOD is no respector of PERSONS" Jas. 2:1-26, If you see someone in need the right thing is to be a good SAMARITAN you must help those in need; You did well by giving money, and a shirt because your brother was naked and hungry, some people twist the word of God around, Our good works will follow us into eternity keep doing it.

That was nice. But it's like that even at my church. If you go down Old National Hwy, you'll see it's really a depressed area right down the street from World Changers. The church does have a food drive and a homeless ministry. However, the problem is so deep that it takes more than the church. Middle class folks are now the lower income folks and can't find jobs. That's why theyre occupying wall street . Homeless people or indigent people are basically denied work if they have a background etc.

I am going to play devil's advocate. I am sure Paula White has some sort of soup kitchen or homeless aid program that you just refuse to ask about. All you are doing is showing off your self righteousness in your rental car. Doesn't Jesus tell us not to parade our almsgiving? Isn't that what you just did with that homeless guy. Why didn't you cut the camera off so that your left hand wouldn't know what your right hand was doing? Matthew 6:1-4. Again I am playing devil's advocate.

1) There's a whole LOT that I've done that you nor anyone else will never hear about, because I purposely live by the scripture you quoted. And if I wanted to show off, I could do way better.

2) The soup kitchen is further down the street I was on and it's PACKED daily at noon. And they get NO HELP from Paula White. But see, I didn't want to put her on blast like that.

3) Again, everything that took place was TOTALLY SPONTANEOUS.

I hate to see people in this situation. If it wasn't for my mother letting me live with her until my finances get straight I'm practically like these people. Lost my apartment to pay day loans. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

I'm from NY originally and most of us were taught young not to give people who ask for money anything. Because most of them are either drug addicts, alcoholic, or they panhandle for a living. So I refuse to help someone in their scamming and can't blame anyone who feels the same. However, I'm sure that Paula Whites church, is more than financially capable of having some type of shelter or boarding house program. If she doesn't then thats a pity and a shame.
