  • red arrows nu1 just amazing

  • Red Arrows for all round pilot skill...

Thunderbirds for the big shouty planes and a great cheesy show :)

  • As a native of pensacola, I'm definitely going with the blues!

  • So for me it's..1.Red Arrows(because of the large formation and energy management) 2. Blue Angels because of the smaller formation and less worry about energy, but their formation handling is spot on by the end of season. 3. Thunderbirds good but just not as good as the other 2. F-16 though would out perform them all in performance envelope and power/weight at lower alt's. This is not to say it's the better war fighter, as the F-18 has more capability in dual roles.

  • This means the outside pilots are having to do huge corrections to maintain formation. Blue Angels the f-18 has a huge weight vs thrust meaning it can do faster and more dynamic displays and are able to recover their energy quickly they also have a small formation which in turn leads to them being able to hold closer. All this talk of computers flying is shit!...there is NO computer that can fly the formation!! It's the pilots skill and training and trust in his fellow pilots that make the displ

  • It's a good question, I've read a few of the answers and some are pretty cluey and other are just outright ignorant. 1st about the aircraft..The BAE it yes a trainer and a gorgeous aircraft to fly...but it has it's issues as well, it's under powered compared to the f-16's/f-18's thus you will notice that the red arrow do a very clean energy management display and their change of formations during rolls and climbs are just amazing. Also large formation large whiplash effect.

  • Really a strange comparison because it is very different team in several ways, but personally I prefer the Red Arrows.

Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels are more alike, but since I never saw the Blue Angels IRL, I will not judge between them ;-)

  • BLUE ANGLES

  • Hmm, Thunderbirds commentator telling the crowd how hard it was to roll a 6 ship formation when they did it at Waddo this year, Reds come a bit later and without a word do the same roll with all 9!

  • Blue Angels first second Thunderbirds third Red Arrows havent seen the

Red Arrows fly. Blue Angels Sneak passes for the Win!

  • the blue angels don't even where G-Suits which maybe dangerous but it's part of learning to fly with the best

  • its a life dream of mine to see these three jet teams, although ive already seen the Blue Angels, they are AWESOME!!!!!!!!! 1/3 dream complete. There is also the Russian Knights!

  • @AwsmMotionPictures blue angles r you from pensacola because i am a see them practice on the base every wensday

  • THUNDER BIRDS ALL THE WAY

  • Blue Angels, come on really?

  • It would be cool if the red arrows flew f 18's

  • Cool

  • Blue angels -3

  • god this better not turn into a cod battlefield thing who cares they all have very skilled pilots and are amusing to watch case closed

  • red arrows are simply the best!

  • Red arrows better stunts in a older plane less technology to help them.

  • blue angels hands down.. thunder birds do exactly what the angels do so they copied the angels so ya blue angels all day

  • 1 more thing look at the power of the F16 and F18 compared to the BAE Hawk T1A

  • Thunderbirds are the best , go USAF!

  • Thunderbird and Red Arrows are not Navy teams!

  • I've seen the 3.

Blue Angels are the coolest, Thunderbirds the craziest but Red Arrow are the best.

  • Thunderbirds (:

  • @3kenpokid it is called The JOINT STRIKE FIGHTER, it's funded by most nato countries at some point along the line, primarily Britain and America, thats why we scrapped the harrier jump jet and our aircraft carriers, and why france are refitting theirs for F-35 usage.

  • The Blue Angels are the most elite fighter jet pilots and always will be.

  • The red arrows shit all over them ,they use old and less sophisticated aircraft and yet manage to do amazing things with them , hands down winners !

  • @RyanG33109 the arrows fly a plane that is used as a trainer, ie its easier to fly. Just sayin...

  • Red Arrows without a doubt.

  • Has to be the Blue Angels... They fly the fastest, they dive the lowest and their combination of difficult maneuvers, close formations, and lack of g-suits or safe operating altitude is just awesome. Arrow come second because they're slower and their maneuvers are less intense, but they fly in great numbers and their tricks are require lots of coordination. Unfortunately, T-Birds come last... They're flashy, but they fly high and their routine isn't as complex. Still difficult, though.

  • @spurlicos82 the Red Arrow plane isnt as fast as a f18 or f16 they can do i think around 600mph at altitude while f18 and f16 can both go over Mach 1

  • @ThreeBros23 Well that's obvious, but nothing is stopping them from getting newer, faster planes. Their slow planes are part of why their routine comes in second; it's not the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds fault that they fly more high-performance aircraft.

  • @spurlicos82 Well the Ministry of defence is cutting back on the militaary like Battleships are getting retired along with submarines and soldiers. The RAF only have 2 planes the Tornado and Typhoon.

  • @ThreeBros23 England is JUST retiring its battleships? All the ones we had in commission were retired more than a decade ago... Well, they still have a strong cruiser and destroyer fleet, so you're okay there. Regardless, we've had huge budget cuts here in the US (especially in the DoD), and we still managed to get new Block 52 F-16s for the Thunderbirds. Hopefully when Britain receives its first F-35s in a couple years, they can allocate some towards the Arrows...

  • @spurlicos82 I highly doubt they will give 9 F35 to the Red Arrows

  • BLUE ANGLES

  • Blue angels

  • snowbirds, red arrows, thunderbirds, blue angels

  • It is funny to go on the Blue Angels website then go to the Thunder Birds

  • @VvMiamivV Your an idiot! If your going to comment on aircraft display teams get your facts right for a start. The Red Arrows fly Hawk T1A which were designed by Hawker Siddeley back in the 70s, now manufactured by BAE systems. Both of which are/were British companies.

Either way all those pilots have balls to fly in the formations and stunts that they do regardless of team.

  • i saw the thunderbirds and red arrows both on 1 airshow in Belgium and they were both very good. The thunderbirds are more agressive :)

  • RIP to Jon Egging who lost his life on saturday in a accident at Bournemouth Airshow and to all the other pilots who have lost there lives on both sides of the pond over the years just to entertain us

  • @VvMiamivV

Blue angles fly computers thats why. not hard to fly them.

red arrows are older. no fancy computers.

red arrows fly in 1 big formation?????????????

have you not seen a show from them? its 9 planes 6ft a part in planes that fly analog and swap there formation atleast 10 times for the first part that split in the secend half.

RIP to Jon Egging who lost his life on saturday

  • @IWC5LFC Fact: Blue Angels began in 1946; Red Arrows began in 1964. Blue Angels perform most displays within several feet from each other, the Red Arrows perform, while compact as well, but more spaced out, needless to say the Blue Angels need a computer to fly that close together ( In a modern plane, I might add )

  • @Jackpot807

    there both great lol

  • @IWC5LFC

i just think the red arrows put on a better display :)

  • @IWC5LFC That they are.

  • Red arrows

  • RAF Red Arrows are recognised within the business as 'the best'. They have been since 1965. They use more appropriate aircraft more suited to low level aerobatics with an exceptional low altitude performance. The display 'box' for a typical European airshow is smaller than that of a US show.....It has to be, F18s and F16 need more space. All the pilots are highly skilled front line squadron pros. The US Navy use the Hawk to train on too. 'Goshawk'. Its that good. Tricolouri are 2nd best.

  • What about the Snowbirds?

  • Blue Angels! They are navel aviators with the best plains, pilots & training. The red arrows are just a bunch of faggy brits in shitty planes and the thunderbirds are just their gay closeted cousin who would get kicked out of the military if they found out.

  • @Steve42098 flying computers, thats all the blue angels fly

  • Frecce Tricolori

  • They are completely different kinds of display. Blue Angels do slower acrobatic manoeuvres which allow them to perform in a tighter formation with a larger aircraft. The Red Arrows do faster acrobatic manoeuvres which requires a slightly looser formation and allows for more but smaller aircraft. None are better they are just different and are ALL highly skilled pilots with a great level of respect for each other and their abilities. So the question is not who is best, but who do you prefer.

  • ok.... the blue angels fly in a tight position, but dont do as rapid changes is position as the red arrows, and thats there style. the red arrows fly further apart which enables then to do quick changes..... its not a matter of how tight they r, its how they like their style. i'm not british or american, im irish, so idk

  • The Red Arrows they are the dangermen, there is even a video on youtube showing their show with both the thunderbirds and blue angels and some of the stunts the red arrows pulled off had the other team pilots scared they were gonna crash and yet red arrows do it on a daily basis fly less than 6 ft apart in the tightest formations and passes.

  • USAF Thunderbirds

  • blue angels kick assssssss

  • Im sorry but the red arrows fly training aircraft, while the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds fly aircraft that are used in combat, My Choice and what i see as the better teams are the Blues and the Birds

  • @ryan0157 then u obviously know nothing about flying. the red arrows are clearly better

  • @critchlowfchc Yeah, about that, I Fly In the United States Military and i would rather see a brightly painted aircraft that I will see in Iraq or Afghanistan rather than something that some countries use to train people, The blue angels fly 18 inches (0.46 meters) apart 90% of the show, yes the Red Arrows flew with Concorde but that does not make them the best in the world, I also have a privet pilots license so dont think i dont know about flying.

  • @ryan0157 If you fly in the United States Military you must be American: hence you ARE an idiot; and the Red Arrows aren't the best in the world because they flew with Concorde, they are the best in the world because they ARE the best in the world. I'm sure if you are a pilot you will appreciate the moves the Red Arrows do are better...

  • @critchlowfchc Ok, let me tell you this because you obviously dont get it... If One Team (Red Arrows) fly 6 feet apart and another team (Blue Angels) fly 18 inches apart, what do you think people will want to see, plus the Red Arrows bounce around so much in their display while nether the Blues or the Birds bounce, its a matter of precise flying, tighter formation, and overall smother flight during the display, and you are calling me an idiot when you are most likely a kid behind a computer

  • @critchlowfchc I know unlike you that flying in tight formation is not an easy task and I respect all formation teams for their hard work to show off what they got

  • @ryan0157 lets just leave it at that? :)

  • Thumbs up for USAF Thunderbirds.

  • Thunderbirds :) because theyre awesome and beautiful to watch

  • The only team that performs their shows without oxygen masks and G suits. Oh, and they are the only pilots who can land on a ship in bad weather at night. Diamond Dirty Roll represent. Respectfully, The Blue Angels. (They can make the most noise too.)

  • Comment removed

  • italian FRECCE TRICOLORI PAN are better

  • The Blue Angels are so good they got featured on the simpsons

  • @Crustbar123 The Blue Angels and the Simpsons are American..

  • They're all very good. the angels fly very very close together. but look at the fantastic red little jets under a blue sky...and by the way: can do the angels or thunderbirds things like the gypo break?

  • Im a huge fan of The Red Arrows. I watch them every day. I live by the by RAF Scampton. Most days you will find me sitting by the runway taking photo's and filming them. Goooooooo Redssss..

  • Roulettes are better!

  • Thunderbirds Are Go! GO Thunderbirds..Thunderbirds win hands down

  • @A1FORC3 Thunderbirds are GO? LOL guess which country the old Thunderbirds TV show came from?

  • @mikester1290 Huh????? im just cheering the thunderbirds

  • @A1FORC3 OK, fine. The "Thunderbirds are GO" is a phrase that was used in the opening sequence of Thunderbirds the 60's TV show. Guessing you don't know what I mean?

  • @mikester1290 i do, cause I'm old. thunderbirds were cool. fireball xl-5 was cooler!!! THE arrows fly trainers, not front line shit!

  • @alkimst13 They sure do, good job Red Arrows are a display team, and not an attack force hey?

  • @mikester1290 no and i dont care

  • blue angel i am a big fan because of my uncle

  • The Red Arrows. Another reason I'm proud to be British <3

  • Check out mine when it comes out, I'm not a dumbass bout aviation and it's a HELL of a lot better than this

  • pause at :29 ...since when does USAF mean navy...now have a great air force day! USAF ATC...so I love all all the teams in question...especially if they are in my airspace...MARSA is a wonderful thing!

  • The Red Arrows and Thunderbirds are not Naval display teams & @TheZacman95 - the Red Arrows do not practice every day - they start work up to find three new members in January, Head to Cyprus in March and then confirm display with AOC in May - the team stand down after the Display season in September and enter a maintenance period between October and January.

  • @dave3663 Hiya Dave, well said buddie. That's so true, because I can't wait for training season to start because I video them everyday during training in Scampton. I live 5 minutes from the runway lol. Love the whole team. They work soooooo hard. Excellent job they do every year. xx

  • Blue Angels!!!

  • Revolving around respect, they're all some of the most amazing and bravest pilots in the world (Definitely not saying that any other fighter pilot isn't) and are all amazing to watch and highly trained.. You look so ignorant and disrespectful dissing/insulting another team.

  • blue angels are top they are the most wanted for any air show and are battle ready,oh and guess what they fly almost every day so they know what there doing

  • @TheZacman95 Don't want to start some sort of comment war, but the USN won't send off the Blue Angels for war. Plus, the Red Arrows practice nearly every day.

  • As far as I'm concerned; the Thunderbird pilots are total idiots.

  • @Nooblet68 As far as I'm concerned; your ignorant and still uploading videos of you playing Roblox.

  • @UndeadInsanity If you don't listen to what someone has to say; especially if ignoring it could put a whole city at risk, then you're an idiot. Simple as.

  • @Nooblet68 Well from what it looks like, your only some kid/teen and your calling someone who has spent decades working at this and has served our country in wars, so of them have did more then two. They risked their lives and dreamed to get where they are as kids and worked hard to it and then you call them idiots. So I'm pretty sure it's clear that your wrong here.

  • @Nooblet68 *some of them

  • where did you get that picture at 0:10

  • The Red Arrows will leave the others in their multicoloured dust.

  • @Sharpyyyyyyyy agreed

  • Red arrows FTW

  • it will be better if they were all in a group

  • The Tbirds are so underrated. They are just as hardcore as the rest of them. And the F-16 is just awesome.

I don't like the BAe Hawk that much.

  • I think the thunder birds need a new paint job thats all.

  • The RED ARROWS, because they are more close, more planes increases the difficulty, more precise and more daring. Their planes are not as powerful as the Blues and Birds but they all put on a very good show.

  • Yes definately Red arrows.

  • i like the blue angels because they are more hard core

  • my top: red arrows- they get closer than others and do crazier stuff

thunderbirds- they r great, love the f-16 and they r better than the blue angels

blu angels- OVERRATED! they still do the job but mostly known because of the f-18 and the ok in crazyness... thats my opinion

btw whats the name of the song?

  • thunderbirds and blue angels have better planes but red arrows are more precise and closer.

    the always outclass the yanks

  • Red Arrows!!!

  • Thunderbirds

  • i think the red arrows are best, but thats my opinion. Everyones entirled to one!

  • WHERE'S RUSSIAN KNIGHTS????

  • Hey dork; you forgot the CAF Snowbirds. Duh!

  • I think there is something for everyone in all display teams. They all have fantastic pilots all of which are the cream of their respective units and on top of all that practice hard. There is power and precision in the Blues and T'birds, elegance and awe at the Reds, Nuttineness of the Frecce Tricolori and Patrouille de France and what about the Russian Knights? Wow all of them. But the Red Arrows always have something going on in front of you and that keeps a long display interesting.

  • USAF Thunderbirds > USN Blue Angels

And I've seen the Blue Angels more.

    Red arrows look awesome though

  • only seen thunderbirds once never seen blue angels lost count of how many times ive seen the reds. would love to see more of the american teams this side of the pond. my personal favorite teams are the french and italians. cant beat thge reds for precision but their display gats a little boring as its the same one year in year out.

get the russian knights back in the

    uk!!!

  • this vid doesn;t do justice sorry

  • The Blue Angels are one of the most known display team in the whole world, that is why Iike them

  • @JoshHartNow Red Arrows are THE most well known display team in the whole world.

  • @SuperAncientmariner I wasn't saying the Blue Angels are the most well known, I said they are ONE OF THE most well known.

  • @JoshHartNow I know, and I was just saying the Reds are THE most well known. Calm down.

  • @SuperAncientmariner OK,calm down

  • omg song?!?!!?

  • I prefer the Red Arrows over the Blue Angels (and this coming from an american).

  • Red Arrows.

9 of them v 6 Angels and 6 Thunderbirds. Noticable you never show the whole Red Arrows Team in formation. Biased perhaps?

  • Even the pilots of Thunderbirds and Blue Angels know Red Arrows are the best. So it's done.

  • Blue Angels!!!

  • blue angels

  • Why dont u list Strizi or Vityazi in here? Amazing demo teams as well, doing at least as good job as Angels and Birds.

Of those 2 you listed, Birds is best:)

  • red arrows - raf

    blue angels - navy

    thunderbirds - usaaf

  • erm, red arrows isn't navy? it's the RAF

  • Red arrows by far

  • Dont pretend you dont know who is better.....

    Its a no-brainer.

  • red arrows look prettier with their group formations but the awe of the thunderbirds is incredible and the f***ing awsome jets!!!!

  • I think the Red Angels are the best, or is it the Blue Arrows, mmmmm!

  • blue angels are the best stunt pilots ever fly tighter together bigger more powerful jets saw all three and hands down blue angels were by far the best

  • @rbarrett88 they maybe powerful but its not all about power and sound...and u obviously havent seen the red arrows if you think that the thunderbirds and the blue angels fly in tighter positions than the red arrows.....tut tut.

  • @MrMaxisdaname The Red Arrows can admittedly pull off some slick maneuvers, but a lot of that has to do with the fact they're flying a trainer aircraft. Trainers are made to be able to recover from mistakes...not to be a widow maker if you're not at the top of their game. The F-16 and F/A-18 aren't trainers. Make a mistake and you die. For this reason the Red Arrows can get away with what they can, but the blue angels and thunderbirds don't have any margin for error.

  • Red Arrows

  • I have seen the Blue Angels many times and the Thunderbirds once. I would love to see the Red Arrows one day. But if I had to pick between the 3, I would have to say the Blue Angels. But like I said, I have never seen the Red Arrows though so maybe if I ever see them my opinion might change.

  • T H U N D E R B I R D S

  • T-h-u-n-d-e-r-b-i-r-d-s. Period.

  • Can i just add that the red arrows have only ever had on death. But it was a woman so what do you expect

  • Blue Angels

  • im sorry i hae to go with the thunder birds

  • Red Arrows easily!

  • thumb up to the Red Arrows from Denmark!

  • If the thunder birds were in a dogfight with all the teams I think USAF would have the win :)

  • @boyman999 amen

  • red arrows are the only ones that can shout over the radio....lol

  • I wish the thunderbirds would switch to f-15's or f-22's. (doesn't mean they have to, it is just my opinion.)

  • @gangstahero1770 I rather choose f-15 over f-22.

  • @boyman999 true

  • @gangstahero1770

F15 is not that manueverable as an f16, so that would be a bad choice.

  • @belspitfire not true, the real reason why the Thunderbirds have stayed with the f16 is only because of price and size difference. There might be other small reasons why but those are the main reason. Trust me, the Thunderbirds have been trying to switch to f15's for years. They just don't have that kind of funding.

  • @gangstahero1770 and since they have not moved is cause they havent had a casualty since they changed

  • Blue Angels all the way. The coolest looking and we love em here In the Bay Area. Fleet Week in SF is a gas!

  • ok, ure plane is faster but the f 18 apparently has greater range, btw it doesnt really matter since none of ure planes can touch the F22

  • Being a pilot takes alot of skill, so I think they're all admirable, but the Thunderbirds have been tradition for me since I was 3. The Blue Angels come in second for me, but I have to say the Thuderbirds rock my sox, and they always will. USAF 4 LIFE

  • red arrows best by far

  • USN- Blue Angels

    USAF- THunder birds

    RAF- Red Arrows

So only one navy team lad

Myself I prefer the Blue Angels

  • @asraven70 God stop making these comments, this video was made 2.5 years ago.. like i dont know its usaf raf usnavy yet

  • @reindenaab Look You Twat, why the fuck did you adress me while being combative,

I don't care if you do or do not know the teams military affiliations, or the time frame so you can go screw yourself for all I care
