A prominent 'I'll be back' at 2:48... Now isn't it funny that this is a famous line by Terminator, and it was none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger who played Conan back in 1982?
@kastle1972 How could you think this is the worst? This cartoon was and is the best in history! Some cheesiness in there, but so what, it was lighthearted more so and adventurous to the mind when a kid watching it! I loved it and still like it even as an adult. People should never think that becoming an adult therefore means we lose our child-like adventurous, fun-loving, kid-around spirit! We should embrace our child-like mentality to a degree, it keeps the mind refreshed! :-)
Italian, my friend. "Venite" means what you said, but it's italian. However, that term considers "you" in its plural form. The correct form for singular "come here you" should be "vieni".
I looked it up on Google translator and in Spanish "Venite" does actually mean "Come back". In Italian "Venite" means "Come" according to Google translator.
I'm not fluent in either language, so I have to look these up. ;)
Huh... Even though the first time there were pressing reasons from the outside, it's actually quite good to know here that people in general don't like being tested.
judging by the dynamic between jasmine & conan, they just started sleeping together like two episodes ago :))) circus gymnast + built like a bull barbarian :))..
there was a conan cartoon after this one , what was it called , it about conan and three kids with powers he travels with. one of the kids could talk to animals{not zula}
This is one of the best cartoons in the history of television, I remembered watching this when I was either ten or eleven years old. Todays villians can take a lesson in evil from the likes of Wrath-Amon, Ram-Amon and Mesmira
@skinnernick yea but kids and the general public now don't like cartoons with a since of realism and violence.Has to do with parents and groups pushing for more of what they view as child appropriate and less visceral. When we were kids,we liked fighting, karate and destruction as thats what the video games and movies were at the time.Kids are more into monsters and abstract things now.Blame parents and civil groups for this trend.
@TuckerTheInsolent Funnily enough, the movies seem to be much more violent nowadays, though, and so are the video games. I personally don't care for violence 'just for the sake of violence'... but if the violence has a meaning and it's based on realism, I can put up with it to a degree.
I miss Conan the Adventurer cartoon. I was also around 12-13 when it first aired in 1992. I taped every episode back then with my VCR timer before going to school. Fun times. :-)
Personally I only remember the first season's worth of episodes being reaired over and over, especially the first three or four. Now I find out that there are actually 64 episodes of pure awesome, so I'm quite happy.
Mesmira is based on Akivasha and thalis from the original stories of conan right? Avivasha from "The Hour of the Dragon". Akivasha was a princess not queen. Her atraction to conan is familiar to the one on the "xuthal of the dusk". Both Akivasha and thalis were women from stygia similar to mesmira.
Out of curiosity (as a fellow Grey Wolf fan) were most Grey Wolf Fans, not particularly strong or sporty people? Intelligent and spectacled? Grey Wolf, Blue Power Ranger, the smart ones were all my favourite characters!

It's not often that an animated series will give more than one basic look to it's characters. I like the Attention to detail.

'Conan and The Young Warriors' was the 1994 sequel to this superior series.
It only ran for one season of 13 episodes compared to 64 eps of 'Conan the Adventurer'.
I know it was released on DVD for Austrailasia (Region 4) but I don't know about USA or Europe.

I don't really understand... there are two things here. THere is the red bearded guy in some episodes, and then the Zula.
Can somebody tell me what the heck is going on?
Sparksomeart 3 years ago
These are posted in order of air date, not timeline in the show.
For some reason, they were not originally aired according to the timeline I guess. Hopefully it evens out once I get to watching #45 or so :/

yes it's very subtle. but to have managed that on a cartoon, and in a fleeting scene? that's quite creative, huh.

Indeed. His sister Sasha's spells are earth and rock-oriented, and Misha's are water-oriented.
