  • 2:10 is fucking crazy!!

  • Sam Coulson looks like Joe Bonamassa. Awesome display of awesomeness.

  • Hey Paul! have you and Sam Ever met?

  • @taximan55 No, but I'm sure we will someday.

  • @riffguy Good to hear from you Paul! Sam is Quite good !

  • yea he winds his own pups

  • wow

  • Heavy Heavy Heavy!

  • 9 1/2 thumbs up to both of you.

  • Great job!!wow!!

  • Excellent! Now....when are we going to see you guys on tour?

  • @Smokeater68 yes, on tour... coool

  • I LOVE that part from 1:11 to 1:14. I hope you don't mind if I...um..."borrow" it. BTW, are those '57 Classics in that beast? I LOVE THAT TONE! It puts the Burstbuckers' tone to shame. (FYI, Fender has just released the EVH Wolfgang pickups to the aftermarket. Eddie be pimpin' 'em at $175/each though). Good job. Glad I subscribed. The 2 guitar tones contrast nicely like each of your guitar 'vocabularies'. As I am typing this, I am listening to it & I can still tell who's who without watching

  • This guitar has Riffbucker Articulators in it, which are available directly from me.

  • lol Wise guy. I think the LP Traditional has '57s in it, & that looks like the same LP from your "test drives a LP" vid. I was just curious if you use the stock PUs, or if you have a preference? That was a "Jack Black"-ish answer though. Nice.

  • They come from the factory with 57 Classics, but the pickups in it now are Riffbuckers....which I build.

  • good job guys :D Both of you are amazing players. More videos!!! :D

  • fuk yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Terriffic playing again, gents! Very nice work. You've got some pretty incredible interplay going on. Looks like you're having a blast too, cheers!

  • awesome collaboration, can't wait to play like that :D

  • man, he looks like a younger twin. awesome!

  • sweet, this makes me wanna play. Thanks for endless inspiration : )

  • EPIC. riffguy, what do you think rocks harder for punk style riffs with some metal? LP or SG?

  • A Les Paul is hard to beat if you want a really heavy rhythm sound, but either guitar would work.

  • riff guy ur a HUDGE insparation on me

i have been playing guitar fir about 2 yrs and im the lead guitarest of a band and i write some songs etc.and i wanna know if praticeing 1-2hrs a day is good. also what gaduge of string is better for an lp ernie ball 9s or ernie ball 10s i heard thres a differnce in sound also HOW THE HELL DO YOU PLAY SO GOOD? do you have any ideas for something for me to pratice inparticular also i have some videos up too and could you tell me if im good or not? thanks

  • I'd recommend practicing for a solid 4 hours a day minimum. As far as what to practice, just play along with music...it makes more sense than just playing scales with a metronome.

I think 10-46 gauge works well on a Les Paul and I don't think there is a big difference in tone from a set of 9's. It's mostly a difference in feel.

I got good at playing the same way others did...practicing hard! There are no hortcuts

  • aaaah man that was just what i needed to pick me up that was awesoem guys absolutley blown away

  • Yes sir they are excellent musicians thanx for the share mate.

  • great shout wez :))

  • Great to see you with Sam. I watched him way back. You two mix well!

  • fantastic.. awesome guitar work on both. great bluesy tone.. thanks for posting it...

  • i got a gibson les paul traditional..it sounded too muddy for me ..i changed the pots to 500k and the pickups to seymour duncan 59..the sound still is not so ''opened''should i put 1meg pots?

  • Personally, I think 1 meg pots might make the guitar too bright, but then it all depends on what you're running the guitar through. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it.

  • riffguy you rock man i love your style

  • Awesome! We demand more :)))))))))))

  • this is an awesome video, but sam coulson sounds the same everytime, but riffguy i have a question, what scales are you using? I know your using pentatonic, but what else?

  • I'm also using the Blues scale and the Mixolydian mode. I may have thrown in a few chromatic notes as well.

  • hell yea this is so badass yall fuckin rock

  • Wow! :)

  • Awesome job, 5*! Killer chops & sweet tones. Rock n' Roll!!!!!!
