Now to comment on the song itself, I love the rap that begins to take place at 3:23, somehow it is cryptic and adds to the mood of the theme. It's pretty nuts to say the least, I gotta hand it to Uematsu in that regard, he really went all out with this theme. It's that rap though, it's cryptic as hell, I am certain it's in Japanese, but the guy just did a great job of actually adding to the atmosphere with the driving guitar, to me that's the best part of this awesome theme.

@Asgard314 Legend of Dragoon was horribly flawed yes but in a sense Lost Odyssey improved upon its forumla and made it work. A Lost Odyssey or LoD sequel (Or a proper Legend of Legaia Sequel) would do very well for the RPG fans. Also - Chrono Cross was total ass to me; I hated it with every fiber of my being just like FF9.

I know CC and FF9 are popular but I NEVER saw the appeal in them...

@LeVaughnX Really? O_o I LOVED FF9, it was my favorite in the series. It's fighting/skill system was fun once you got used to it, and every character had a niche (With the right combination of skills).

Granted, Chrono Cross isn't the best game out there, but I really liked the fact that you could get different characters every time you played it until you got them all. The fighting system was fun too (Unlike Dragoon... =_= God I hated that fighting system...).

I enjoyed FF9(not as great as 6) but, yeah, couldn't really get into Chrono Cross. Only great part about that game was the soundtrack. Chrono Trigger was a much better game, IMO. Lost Odyssey, now, is just epic. Because of the deep themes touched on in the game, it feels much more mature than most other JRPGs.

@LeVaughnX CC was alright, but damn as a sequel to CT it was a mess. I agree with FF9 completely, that game sucked massive amounts of ass and musically was Uematsu's worst creation. Don't care if he says it was his favorite, I could just tell he was getting burned out doing it all alone for the longest time. I will say this is a nice piece of music though, thundering rock and latin chorus somehow works well, it's not the most epic piece ever, but some nice shit regardless.

Catherine isn't the only game Atlus has made recently, they pump out games like crazy, and all of them are at LEAST better-than-decent RPGs. Catherine isn't even an RPG, it's more of a puzzle game as far as I've seen it. I still think it looks cool and all. I think Atlus is gonna live on for a long time.

Also, they're re-making SMT: Devil Survivor, it's gonna be awesome.

Honestly, I totally thought Catherine was gonna be another RPG like Persona 4 or something, boy was I wrong.
