  • Did You Record This With A Toaster?

  • There is a penis in the video look when the crow flush over the fence in the right corner,

  • my word! What people say about judy is just horrible...Image her DAUGHTERS and GRANDCHILDERN reading this. Would YOU want your down point in your life spread all over the web? And then years later your grand childern stumble upon it? Something your not proud of?

! I would be HORRID. Maybe you should watch what you say.

And towards the end that parts of it wasnt in the movie

  • The deepest part of the ocean is a long way from shore you wouldn't be able to swim it but then he wasn't suppose to have a brain so what did he know?

  • @witchespromise70 it was blurry, and because you were lookin at the people skipping, catching it in the corner of your eye makes it look like something is swinging in the tree. it looks about the size of a munchkin so thats what the general public assumed it was.

  • this has terrible graphics

  • he can fly?

  • What wonderful great minds created this masterpiece? I don't think the world will see their likes again soon.

  • @onebaud - Judy Garland was a handled and pimped celebrity zombie, who was so hooked on amphetamines by the time this was made, it is almost unbelievable. The manager at MGM never even spoke one word to her, though she made him over 100 million in those days money !! If you call those celebrity freaks who handled her and that greedy Jew who owned MGM "great minds" then you are truly uninformed. Garland was also well known to sleep with almost any man. She was an addict at 15 years old !!

  • @corytww actually if you continue to watch all of that stuff with the pumpkin and what looks like the scarecrow flying is not in the vhs release, and the song is longer...

  • The dance part with no singing is only there in some movies, I saw a video called something like wizard of oz casting the scarcrow which said the dance was running to long so they cut the scean in half but on some movies it shows it

  • If you rent or buy the actual Movie, its all in there

  • Ya'll are right! I havent seen a lot of this before. Really interesting.

  • this scene is so rare it is the very first time i've seen it.(13 dec' 2010)amazing.

  • Some people will do anything just to get view.... This is stupid you dimwit.

  • Wow this is great!!.....when i was younger i remember seeing a longer scence for the scarecrow it was one of my favorite parts of the movie...as years went by i noticed I didnt see it anymore and I thought I was going crazy.....thanks for my sanity !!!! LMFAO !!!

  • @TheBeautifulBernice you know, its EXACTLY the same thing i get with films being cut up..

  • OK guys, enough with the arguing back and forth about whether or not this is a deleted scene. It's not a deleted scene, BUT is IS an extended scene. This sequence in the movie is much shorter and doesn't include all the extra dancing to just music. In the movie, it's just him dancing and singing.

So no, it's not a deleted scene. It's called "extended" like some folks should "extend" their vocabulary.

  • rofl, love when the pumpkin bumps him on the ass and sends him flyin in the air

  • The Scarecrow DID have a 4 minute dance sequence deleted - but this was not it!!!!!!

  • @Earthlinked Sorry ...I just watched it tonight and it was not in the movie...in fact because of the commercials i am sure more scenes were shorten and we just have n't noticed...Im 43 yr old and have been watching it only on tv and notice its time getting shorter and shorter!!! XD LOL

  • @TheBeautifulBernice - Watched on TBS, eh? :-) But no, nothing was cut...b/c Oz has "protected status" from the Library of Congress and National Film Preservation Board, it can't be edited when shown on TV.

  • Numurous scenes were cut from the Wizard of Oz:

The Scarecrow Dance, The Jitterbug segement ("They'll give you no trouble! I've sent a little insect ahead to take the fight out of them!" proclaims the Witch as she sends her flying monkeys out. But just what that insect is, of course, never shown), The Faery Tale Union (between the Lullabye League and Lollipop Guild), a victory parade in Emerald City (after Dorothy kills the Witch) to a reprise of "Ding-Dong-The-Witch-Is-Dead", etc. etc.

  • Yes, this is actually a deleted scene called "The Jitterbug"....that was supposed to be an included number for the scarecrow....the dance scene was too long....good find!

  • @MrD0911 - Nope, "The Jitterbug" was a full song removed from the movie but was filmed when they were in the spooky forest. Lyrics were "Who's that hiding/in the treetops/it's that rascal/The Jitterbug!". When we did WoO at our primary school about 25 years ago, we did it then. What's been posted here is an extended dance sequence.

  • @xb0xguru nice! thank you for clearing that up,,,I must have misread the deleted scene list incorrectly.....but I know this part was deleted due to time correct?

  • @MrD0911 - I think it was cut due to time :)

  • i find this film so creepy its awful its a good film but its very very dark very dark. it gives me the willies

  • take me there god. please

  • omg. love this

  • i dont remember that dance break...

  • @quipband09 i think that must have been deleted--i just checked on my DVD and it's not there.

  • there was this one version that i saw whre he went on a pumpkin or something........

  • @redsoxgirly17 Yeah at around 3:00 you see the pumpkin bit.

  • I fail to understand why they would make it into a bird. Why wouldn't they just edit the thing out completely?

  • retarded people

  • its a fucking bird. no not a peacock.. it was a craine.. and if u look it up it was on tv for myths and legends.. and they talked to one of the munchkins from the movie.. he said it was a craine.. bending its head up and down. and he said "I WAS THERE.. YOU WEREN'T"

  • hmm think if you created a popular kids repeat kids movie and aired it with a suicide in the scene you would think theyd try to cover it up so they dont get sued

  • it was a munchkin but they edited it and made it a bird.

  • you can see the bird flapping its not a munchkin u dummys lol you guys have gone to far lol

  • now when i 1st started hearing about the midget being hanged i thought it was real but if you look close enough you obviously see that its a bird besides for 1 they had lots of birds running around the set and 2 dont you think that the tin man, the lion, dorthy, of even the scarecrow , would've seen a human being hanging themselve on set...

  • when I was 8 my dad bought my the all black and white version you can see it in that one I showed him and he denied it and took it back. The lion was creep enough let alone I couldent understand what they were saying because it was muted because the veary first first one didn't have sound or color

  • not true the very first one was filmed (with sound) and color video was started wide spread halfway through the video, meaning the first half was B&W second half colored

  • i think people try to make them selfs believe its a bird because this movie is a beloved movie.......... i mean its a man hanging himself not a bird... dont fake what you know is there..... also maybe when filming they didnt see the man i mean we cant even see it unless we zoom in very very close............... on top of that brids dont have a head with bown hair and a body thats wearing blue jeans and a white t shirt..... look at an original copy not the 50th like a really old copy of the movie

  • @peacebabe227 Um....no commet you are just an idiot I dare not stoop to yor level. obviously it is not a peron being hanged...you are all looking the wrong place for it....(Oops I've stooped) and no I'm not pmsing I just hate how you think a bird ca be a person?

  • yeah i agree and they probably say its a bird to cover it up and when i used to watch this i never noticed it

  • @TheRandomkid321 dude its a bird... you can tell... look at the tree befor the wing comes out you can see the bird..

  • it was a bird indeed it was a piecock but a munchkin did hang his self in his home it was a dedication to him cause he wand to be with dorothy and since he was a munchkin it wasnt possible

  • its a bird. deal with it.

  • the bird is also shown a couple times before that walking over there, like over by the trees, and the house, and out in that field before it goes behind a tree.

  • Not the first full length film in color, though.

  • Oh, but Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man... that he didn't, didn't already have. And cause never was the reason for the evening... or the tropic... of Sir Galahad...

  • it was a bird. if u look closly, u can see it bending down to eat some grass or watever.

  • Yah. In the back round it's just an emu(A kind of bird) that's spreading its wings. It's not a hanging munchkin!

  • such bad quality

  • @reeeltalk its from 1939 dummy

  • you have to remember that technology wasn't as advanced as it is today. It was 1939, after all!

  • @reeeltalk the sound isn't too horrible...

  • you guys r the retarded one. one of the actors playing as a munchican did hang themself on the set. but it obvioulsy wasnt IN the movie. it was off set like not being shot by cameras. dumbasses.

  • Again, you do not make your case very well with that sort of display. And what does the suicide reference have to do with this sequence. Someone needs to get over a matter that just didn't happen the way they want it to have been.

  • it was birds they got from the local zoo for the set you idiot not a hanging munchkin

  • lol i agree with you this isn't the origla so there for a different movie even tho it's the same if you know what im saying, it's edited.

what you say makes scence i mean what i heard is that it was proven its the directors son, and why would the keep on filming while that was happening.. or at lest redo that scene after the relised

    please pardon my terrorble spelling

  • quality made me walk..

  • Hey, is that the real low voice of Judy and Ray?

  • (The TRUTH) This movie is actually ABOUT the allegory for the new state of affairs in America in the 1930s' following the Stock Market Crash and factual bankruptcy of the US Goverment.

After those years, now, Kansas is now a 'Federal Zone'. Now our names are in CAPITAL LETTERS in our mail, Social Securities Cards, and other Federal Documents. We are products of the state.

Scare-Crow=Represents human beings in ignorance. Tinman=TaxpayerIdentificationNumber.Lion=fearlessAmericans.lost.Courage

  • Actually, I have heard of that. Something to do with the emerald city originally being silver or something-as in money. But because it was the first full length film in COLOR things were renamed colors, such as the EMERALD CITY or the RUBY SLIPPERS. I dunno, just what I've heard. ((:

  • Hm, I also thought The Wizard of Oz represented life as a journey. Meeting people, like the scarecrow, the tin man, the cowardly lion. How the far hands were them, same actors, personalities. I guess The Wizard of Oz could mean a lot of things.

  • dumbass this was in the movie

  • The scene in the movie does not go on quite as long as this-making it a "partial deleted scene"

  • such bad quality

  • maybe he meant it was a scene he accidentaly deleted from his own vhs and his friend brought his over so he recorded it and put in on you tube

  • ha! : )

  • @corytww This is the deleted bit, from around 3:00.

  • @corytww Thats NOT on the DVD.

  • @corytww - If you've ever seen the movie, you'd know this scene is MUCH longer than the original!

  • @corytww actually if you continue to watch all of that stuff with the pumpkin and what looks like the scarecrow flying is not in the vhs release, and the song is longer...

  • @corytww alot of this wuznt in the movie smart 1!!!!!!

  • lol are u dancing? um and i have this i just sat like a dick head and looked ;)

  • @phimify loool, i cud see someone in their house bouncing around to this with a cam, thats too funny! hahah

  • This isn't a deleted scene.

It's on the movie I have.

  • it was added back in.

  • what's wrong with your camera? it's not very good

  • u fail at technology

  • learn to hold a camera oh my god.

  • THe last part is is deleted, at least in Europe (I've check it in Irish, English, Spanish and Basque versions) :)

  • You have it in Irish? I want a copy of that :)

  • That part wasn't deleted. That part and song are infamous.

Did they cut that out European copies?

  • YES THAT IS A DELETED SCENE

  • i don't have MY own closet i have a dresser much better so nice try!

  • apparently i have the version with this entire part in.

  • okay

  • Comment removed

  • I feel dizzy.

  • oh shit lol

  • THAT AINT DELETED

  • part of the dance was deleted

  • I'M SICK OF BOB!!!!

  • This is obvioulsy a drunken parent with a camcorder at a movie theater thinking they are filming something really important..

  • why bother even uploading this

  • qft.

No offense but this taping betrays extreme laziness on your part. Hopefully you're not a 7 year old little girl because then I'd kind of feel bad but at least then it'd be understandable.

    Next time.

    1) Tape it onto a DVD and then rip into onto your computer before uploading it.

    2) Or at the very least keep the video camera on a level surface to improve the quality.

  • You're corney for taping this off of your tv like this..the feed looks terrible

  • This whole scene isn't deleted, just the extended dance routine, because you can see a copy of The Dark Side of the Moon in the hands of a dead munchkin at 2:38

  • That scene wasn't deleted wen i watched the film

  • why in the world would this be deleted in the first place?

  • why isnt it in black and white for 1939 thats weird

  • Wizard of Oz and Gone with the Wind were the first big color movies to come out (both 1939). Wizard of Oz actually started out in black and white and changed to color after Dorothy fell into the pig pen and started dreaming. The fact this movie was in color was a big thing and made the movie extra special and dreamlike. Gone with the Wind and Wizard of Oz were also made on a much larger budget than other movies of it's time.

  • being an avid Oz fan , I know a lot of what you said is not factual. The reason the beginning of the film is in SEPIA ( not B/W ) is because it is supposed to look dreary and dry , making Oz even more wondrous to escape to. And she also , starts dreaming of Oz when she is hit in the head by a window pane during a storm.

  • You're right, the beginning of the movie was in sepia tone, not black and white. I hadn't seen the movie in a long time when I posted that.

I do believe the dream started when she fell.

  • Well, Im not trying to bug you about corrections , but when she falls in the pig pen she simply pats herself off and continues until the storm hits , thus the window pane, and so on.

  • It'd be super hard to distinguish the yellow brick road from any regular road if the movie was in black and white ryder.

  • This was not deleted.

The deleted scene was "The Jitterbug" from the haunted forest.

  • Comment removed

  • Actually, if you continue to watch, you'll find that this is the complete dance. Most of the dance was removed from the film.

  • WOW that must of hurt.

  • at first I didn't get the difference then I noticed he doesn't walk so far backward in to the background in the newer released versions

  • This isnt that good

  • And my head I'd be scratchin' while

    my balls were busy hatchin'

  • I think he said "while my thoughts were busy hatching", I had to listen to it a few times but the 't'becomes easier to hear if you listen carefully.

  • lol. look at that split T 2:44! lol.

  • there's a deleted scene with the trees in the forest.i don't know of any others.

  • this scene wasnt deleted i got it on vhs on an old tape.

  • i do too... i dont think this scene was really deleated- maybe just a small little part was deleted from this scene

  • Ray Bolger was a great dancer, I adore Judy!

Judy Garland and Ray was also together in

    "the Harvey Girls" (1946)

  • I remember this scene on VHS when I was a kid.

  • Wow, I had no idea Ray was such a talented dancer, especially with throwing in the comical element! Thanks alot for the video, it was very interesting to see the filmsters of the 1930's experiment with different effects and camera work =)

  • nice camera work.. lay off the weed dude...

  • Ray had a wonderful talent as a comedy dancer

and singer..this extra sequence didn't show it right. Those bounces off those fake fences and that flight

to the top of the set is just too much damn fantasy! It's good..if you want to play "Superman!".

  • Lets not go too crazy about people finding "lost scenes"......this was cut from the film. And as usual, on DVD you get "extras"......like scenes that were cut. Just like this.

  • But this is the only deleted scene from Oz that survived...the others included on the VHS/DVD releases from 93-present are merely recreations w/still photos.

  • good job! this section surely wasn't in the collector's edition of the movie..where did u find it?

  • Actually, it was...it's appeared as an extra on most VHS/DVD editions from 1989-onward.

  • This appears to be a video of the movie playing on someone's TV.
