Just because they are on horse back does not mean western. Too many idiots are saying its a western. It is very common for people to ride horses in the outback. There are a bunch of place a jeep ( 4 wheel drive ) can't make it.

Every aussie movie that I've seen is pretty much sh1t, except for Romper Stomper.

This one looks to be the same. B-rated sh1t. But with so many good reviews it's worth a look. Will try to remember to post back after watching it.

Hmmm I have mixed feelings with this... it looks ok. But it's a western. If it turrns out to be a more "aussie" version of a western that would be much more interesting I think... but if it's more so just a western with aussie accents... then it's not really incorporating the two together. I do like some westerns... and it's a great genre for Australian cinema to mess with... but I'm not sure if they have done that here. I think is simply a western with aussies O_o
