  • bought this in early 90's.. best album ,just pipped screamin cheetah wheelies 1st album as best every .

  • I've been to Greg and Aliece's house before, they're wonderful people and they had a beautiful old home. I just wish I could find that old DVD that has the alternate video for this song. I think they still live about 20 miles from my house, I should go visit them again someday.

  • God I love these guys!

  • one of the best albums in my collection....every song is great

  • People who say, this sounds like The Black Crowes are mistaken... It's the other way round... Both great bands, but Raging Slab were first!!!

  • Indeed a fine CD, Still have mine play it all the time.It rocks Big time,,NUFF SAID

  • for some reason today, out of the blue, the chorus from Anywhere But Here pops into my head while driving to a gig. I've never really listened to Raging Slab but remembered them from Headbangers Ball when I was a kid and liking them ok. Decided to look them up when I got home and found the A.B.H. video and then pulled up this. Never realized what a great band they were. This song is awesome!

  • excellent!

  • Are these guys still together? Love em!

  • One of my Fave's for many moons

  • When in Rome~~~~~~~~~ENJOY! I LOVE Elises' guitar playing as much as I love Harriet Wheelers' voice--when she sang for ---The Sundays!

  • by far the best song on DMBC and i'm not a ballad guy.

  • Fine music and fine ass man !

  • We all love it and that is everything that matters. Let the others get their kicks off on Nelly Fartado or something else they truly deserve. Thanks Greg and Elyse!

  • They sound like predacesors to the Black Crows.

  • I rushed out and bought this cd after they received a great review in Stereo Review Magazine. They said it was album of the year then and after I gave it a spin I fell in love with their style. Finally something original in a cookie cutter industry. I still don't understand why they didn't catch on more.

I remember reading they recorded this whole album in a semi truck trailer on a 16 track machine. Screw the big corporations, these guys didn't need them!

  • thank you so much for uploading, been looking for this video for more years than I care to remember :)

  • why "dynamite monster boogie" didn't catapult them to the top is beyond all comprehension.

  • @curt883 One of the great mysteries. Terrific live band, too. Saw them at the Underworld, then the Astoria in London. Paw supported. Belting gig.

  • @curt883 I think I know why Raging Slab, along with other great bands didnt take off. Its because most of America loves crap ! It seems great music gets ignored, but bubble bum pre-made pop with auto-tune and digital everything gets top billing.

  • @jhzab666, When this came out, there was a completely different music scene, so it still is a mystery

But you're still right, America does love itself some shitty music

  • Great song. Wished I had heard it back then.

  • We need more slab. One of the best bands of any time.

  • Another great band that got fucked and destroyed by that douchebag, Rick Rubin, who forced them to bow down and make a lame alterna-rock record because MBDConcert didn't sell enough. Fuck you, Rubin!

  • @SabuPtolemy

Same thing for Unida and their Great Divide album (one of the John Garcia from Kyuss projects). As I heard, Rick Rubin didn't help on releasing the album back then...

  • Yep, (P)rick refused to release the album and also wouldn't let the band have it unless they came up with a quarter of a million dollars to buy it back. Rubin has been a total cunt to several bands.

  • best southern sleaze rock ever.

    fuck guns'n roses

  • oh the memories,great band

  • thanks for postin' my friend turned me on to their first record when it came out i lived in Oakland CA they came and played in san jose but i missed them, I waited 10 years for them to come back around and they fuckin' rocked

  • i had this album back in 92... one of the best albums that ever came out in the 90's

  • I was taking a dump wile lisening to this band. Dood, I can't hear wether they're an old band or a new band trying to imitate an old one. These guys are good! LOL.

  • Great band. Wish they were still touring.

  • great band..their one guitarist Mark Middleton who used to play with them in the early days plays in a classic rock cover band in my area now days..hell of a guitarist

  • rock on. wish everyone knew that we could make music that didn't need a label. saw them live in portland, maine circa 92. rocked my ass off. no one overplayed and everyone had a part. go figure.

  • wish they had a video for "so help me"

  • RS rocks

  • one the coolest and most underrated bands in the late 80's. F..k Guns and Axls

  • i love when people hate on GNR ROCK ON BRO!!

    Ragin Slab rule!!

  • Hey, no need to hate on GnR!

I love both Raging Slab and GnR, both are great bands.

  • Amen !!!

  • These guys still touring?

  • Great southern rock band from new york.

  • awesome!!! to the person that rememmbers a different sound,,,check out "dont dog me."

  • Good song... mmmm but I remember another sound... I remember a song from about 1987.. with a totally different sound... somebody can help me?

  • Raging Slab is a total class act and they rock their friggin asses off! Every song off of thier Dynamite Monster Boogie album is killer! I love these guys not only because they're great musicians and songwriters, but despite numerous setbacks, they positively refuse to give up! These cats are THE REAL DEAL!

  • @crossroader they make music for musicians ,,,,

  • wooow great band!! SOUTHERN ROCK RULEZ!
