  • the dimarzio x2n is really noisy pick up..how do u like him? Chuck forced you? :D

  • @ThrashTilGrave Haha, no! The guitar is just as noisy now that I put the seymour duncan back in. I put my X2n in a spare cheapo LTD I had laying around. I really like the X2N, though. It is definitely a screamer.

  • I'm saving up for a new guitar and I've been looking at this one, do u think it's worth the 2 grand and some odd cents? Also did it have any factory defects that you had to fix or take to a luthier?

  • @fsmodz11 The guitar was especially noisy, and by that I mean it had a lot of hum unless I touched the guitar on a metal part or a string. So the guitar wasn't grounded correctly, which is a pretty annoying issue for one that costs as much as it does. I wouldn't say the guitar is completely worth it new. The best part about the guitar is the fret levelling, it has very little if any fret buzz.

  • @ThorsGuitarChannel I would try getting a used one if I were you.

  • @ThorsGuitarChannel thanks for the input, i might end up doing just that. This guitar sounds great, although I might not like the floyd rose too much because I like old thrash as well as melodic stuff like In flames, so I don't know how fun it would be dropping the tuning and bringing it back up :). Also my price range is in the lower 1,000s, I've been looking at Dean's ESPs and I'm liking them both a lot.

  • @fsmodz11 LTD's and ESPs are great guitars. I can't speak much for dean, I've only played one dean. You should check out BC Rich man! I really want one of those 7 string stealths they make now.

  • Wut happened to the bc rich dlxjrvo?

  • @TheCorpseshredder I still have it. I just haven't made a video with it in quite a while.

  • why did you replace stock pick up? seymour duncan tb4 has a high output great for everything.....nice good playing anyway, please answer..maybe if you give me some good reasons, I'll also replace it..thx cheers

  • @Skull24Crusher To be honest, I now think that neither the X2N or the TB-4 sound good in this guitar. I would just keep the TB-4 in it if I were you.

  • @Skull24Crusher welll as you can see from my videos, i own a jackson randy rhoad 24 with a single EMG 81 in the bridge, have i really to replace it? please answer and check my videos,,,if you want...thx cheers

  • @Skull24Crusher Oh OK. Those are neat guitars. If you're really looking for something different I would just stay with actives in that guitar since you'd have to change pots, jacks, switches, and add a bridge ground wire just to switch to passives. Try a Seymour Duncan AHB-1 blackout maybe.

  • Hmm, what pickup is that? X2n?

  • @jeanettebajs Yes. An X2N in the bridge and the stock SH-4 in the neck.

  • @ThorsGuitarChannel Sweet :)

  • sounds awesome dude !

  • @xxxblucoxxx Thank you!
