  • Nice bike

  • I'm still in doubt: nightster or forty-eight...nightster is more practical, forty-eight looks alot better. aauugh, the agony of choice.

  • beautifull

  • sounds great, imthinking of getting this model. Also do they have a 2 seater version of this bike? Or should i get somthing a lil bigger. I have experience on mototcross and trailbikes in general. Any help id be greatful. Cause im taking my bike courses now for my license

  • dude, you should open the garage door if you're gonna run the engine. There is a real Carbon Monoxide poisoning danger in this video

  • Have you had any issues w/ this bike since buying it?

  • cuanto te costo tu moto?

  • cuanto te costo tu moto?

  • I have no issues to ride full day with this bike. I am 182cm tall. It just fit me like a glove.... Next season Ironbutt perhaps

  • i can´t tell you how jealous i am!!! :-(((

    congratulations my friend!

  • No doubt ever heard of carbon monoxide

  • @danmerica123-no doubt of you shutting up and learning how long it would take for that space to fill with a dangerous level of carbon monoxide,I will give you a clue alot longer than a minute and a half, turkey

  • open the garage door dude !

  • omg she is so nice

  • I just saw one exactly like this one for sale at the local HD dealer and I fell in love with her. The funny part is that I've always been afraid of bikes but I saw it and fell butterflies in my stomach. i don't even have a motorcycle license endorsement. Would this one be a good "starter" bike?

  • @MercsDude I don't know if anyone responded to you or if you've ever ended up buying a bike but the Sportsters are excellent starters bikes. Highly recommend one if you've never ridden before.

  • do they run strong?

  • can it ride 2 persons?

  • That is a nice sound. I am so excited to be getting the same bike next month.

  • This was incredibly helpful. I just bought my Nightster last week and LOVE it. I just wish the pipes were a little bit louder and more meaty. The slip ons you have sound great. Anyone heard any other brands I should consider? Thanks again.

  • @jssunn I own an 08' nightster and ive got black ceramic V&H short shots that sound like a rabid warthog snorting when you blip and a 10'000 rpm jackhammer when you nail it, really meaty if you get my drift. If i had to buy new pipes for whatever reason, id buy the same ones over again.

  • nice...

  • nice sound

  • OK so you know where the start button is well whoop de fucking do for yoo. What is the point of vids like this? Get on the fucking thing and RIDE

  • how does it ride when your on the highway without a windsheild? is it tolerable or bad? by the way awesome bike love the look and sound!

  • Nice ride bro! Sounds awesome.

  • Im getting a nightster too,

Sooooo sick, and the price for one thats brand new, is un-comparable.

  • We are all going crazy for these bikes in OZ, Ill be getting my 1200 very soon!

  • GOTTA LUV DA HARLEYS

  • looks good just they way it is.....

  • that is sweet as fuck

  • Avoid to let a engine run in a closed room.. For the rest, nice looks and sound :-)

  • usa the throttle, pliz!!

  • i would give my left nut for a hightster

  • i want this bike

  • i can't wait until i get mine

  • have you taken it for a long ride? I'm interested in buying one, but i need it for relatively long rides (6 hrs).

  • If that is what you want I WOULD NOT recomend this bike for long Trips. Go with a bigger bike like a touring.... This doesnt have any storage and If you ride more than 3 hours your back starts to hurt.

  • thanks haha

  • Swap seats, get a engine guard with highway pegs and a windshield. Get the black leather sportster bags. The good thing about sportsters is you can always change their appearance.

  • Get a Mustang seat and a shield, and you can ride until the wheels fall off.

  • I agree w coolride. I have a HD 1200C w a Mustang 2 pt seat, windshield, and clubman bars. Done3 trips from mid Ga to Daytona, no worse for wear. 5oo miles in a day? no sweat

  • Yep Mustang seats are the best, worth every penny I have a 2001 rigid mount engine. 2004 and up pray you don't have tranny trouble if no warranty.

  • @oneshotperkill just came home from a demo ride on this very bike in the clip. it was amazing and nimble but its problem was that it is VERY shaky and very hard and rough on the bumps on the road. am a 177 meters tall and it fit me perfectly. but regarding the comfort in long rides, its probably the worst bike ever made for that matter.

  • @Rezaroth I ride mine for hours and hours and after awhile its a little uncomfortable but im 21 and deal with it... as far as worst bike ever made for that matter i disgree 100% any crotch rocket is much ... much worse than this bike is long rides !

  • @oneshotperkill yea man there great i have the same bike as this guy ive driven on trips up to sturgis on mine and daytona and there both 700 + mile trips.

  • nice sound bro i wanna put some rush slip on's on my 883. question how many DBS is it higher than stock???

  • Nice bike man, a Harley never deceives !! Enjoy it !!

  • nice bike super sweet sound. i want one bad.

  • nice bike

  • Sounds nice!! Disclaimer for video: Never start a vehicle in a closed garage. LOL :>)

  • I must of watched this video a 100 times before I bought my Nightster. Thanks Man

  • I did the same thing when I was in the process of buying mine LOL

  • haha im looking into buying one to.....ahhh the joys of youtube

  • Thats the sameone I want

  • Nice bike and it sounds great too!

  • ^^ harley 2008 is inyection, the true sound is on a hold harley.

  • nice looking bike!! i was wanting to know if the slip ons are a lot louder than stock? im thinking of getting the V&H short shots black

  • Its like night and day. Stock pipes are like riding a Stock non harley bike.

V&H are very good and really desirable. Go with Custom pipes you wont regret it.

  • nice bike, did you have to put a fuel pack when you installed the slip on.

    thanks

  • I just did on my 1200, vance & hines sounds awesome, you'll be happy, trust me dude.

  • Very nice sound. Is there much difference in sound between the 1.75 and 2.00 baffles?

  • not much. But I would go for the 2.00

  • kinda undecided about adding an engine guard and two up seat and saddle bags,im not a big guy bout 5'9 n slim, what do you think will be like with those addons

  • Whatever you do DO NOT put saddle bags on a Nighster, It will ruin the whole design. Engine Guard? Nah.... don't do it. Just add a nice exhaust and some highway pegs. Maybe a medium Ape Handlebar.

If you have a lady friend then buying a $199 two-up seat is not a bad idea. Then you will have both seats and you can swap them if you are riding alone.

Good luck and post a video when you get it.

  • cool ,thanks for the clip,I was looking at pipes for my 07 xl custom and one guy told me it was like 1000 bucks, then the harley guy told me 300 out the door for slip ons..I ordered them today.

  • what size baffles do you have in your mufflers? i'm looking to put pipes on my '06 Sporty, but I live in an apartment complex and pipes w/ 2.5" baffles are gonna be too loud.

  • These are 2.0". If you go above 2.0 (like 2.5) you will need to do a remap.

  • Yeah, I'm gonna go with 1.75" with an airbox. mechanic told me i won't have to touch my carb. pretty excited.

  • thats awesome. Post a video when you are done to hear how it sounds!

  • Harley Nightsters are just awesome. The old school look and flat paint is just amazing. The 1200 Motor has high performance "something" inside to make it faster and more powerful than a normal 1200 harley Engine. I love this bike. Awesome pick. Thanks for posting.

  • That's a hell of a nice sound comming out them pipes. I actually reviewed this particular video several times before I bought my bike. It sounds amazing when you listen to these videos with a subwoofer hooked up to your computer. It's like you in the garage breathen all them fumes too.

  • Lol, I like how the garage door is closed, nothin like breathin those fumes! That thing is so kickass, was just checkin one out at the harley store today, want one sooo bad.

  • i want one of these so bad!!! they are bad ass!!!

  • Nice bike - the only thing your missing is more clutter in the garage.

    Good luck!

  • how much did it cost to get the exhaust done

  • The exhaust price was like $200 plus $80 installation. (Rush Performance Slip-Ons Pipes)

  • did you have to do a remap

  • No. It was not requiered. These are 2.0" in diameter, If you go ABOVE 2.0" (like 2.5") they WILL requiere REMAP. Hope that helps

  • Anyone know the total weight on that bad boy sounds so sweet

  • The weight is 565 Pounds

  • Ok, Thanks!

  • that bikes got a nice sound to her there

  • sounds nice ---see u on the forums

  • this video should be flagged because this bike is so sexy!

  • That is my Favorite Sportster 1200. Its to badass. Nice exhaust Pipes there. Awesome sound.

  • Awesome, Man! I love Sportys, especially the Nightster.
