@Juliaflo You mean she was a winner of what was known as "America's Second Biggest Election"? At its peak, there more than 20 million ballots cast to choose the brewer's annual spokesmodel--all roughly withing 50 miles of New York City (it was the top brand in the market).
@spacepatrolman I understand the person who discovered Adams' body also destroyed a suicide note found there, so his wife and kids would get the insurance.
This is 1964-65, no hippies yet, people still dressed nice in nightclubs. Even as a kid I thought hippies looked dirty. I preferred this higher fashion look, that blonde was really pretty and in a few movies back then, can't think of her name though!
Good morning, do you like sixties? Listen and pod cast my program " great sound of 60' s " on the site plumfm. Greeting and made blooper in rock and roll.

Yes, the groovy years...I remember them well. Complete with groovy hippies...groovy love. Groovin'... on a Sunday Afternoon...went the lyrics. Everything was just wonderful and groovy 24/7...And then we grew up and some of us became politicians...and now the whole country is in a "rut". ;')
Cool clip! Thanks for posting! So many fascinating aspects: many popular actors of the day (Nick Adams, Marlo Thomas, Norm Alden, etc) and a groovy mid-60's band, The Standells. I wish some retro TV network or channel would show reruns of this show...."Ben Casey" was one of the more intellgent & better cast of the many TV doctor shows of the day. Classic stuff...I'd prefer it to most of what the networks offer us today.
The blonde actress is Mary Mitchel. She played a Norwegian waitress named Mady in an episode of "Hogan's Heroes. "It was the one where Carter gets a Dear John letter and requests permission to escape to go back to the U.S. and talk his girlfriend out of leaving him. Hogan says he can, provided he go into town and try to unload some phony microfilm to a German soldier. Mady is the waitress in the restaurant.
The Blonde Actress Name is Kathy Kersh!

Any chance of a clip of Marlo from "My Favorite Martian," or will I have to rent a copy of one of the DVD's?

Marlo Thomas was seen on and off after "That Girl," but seemed to focus more on St. Jude and being Mrs. Phil Donohue.
The more time goes by, the less time there is to put even the best shows on in reruns. That's what DVD's and downloads are for.
