what a great video, may i know your name? are you a filipino? you need to be born here to know our ancestral bloodline, books don't tell our history it's in our bloodline but a great man like you is worth it.
Our Identity rooted from HEROISM.. the term Filipino, tagalog, Cebuano are just terms... But the essence of being a Filipino really lies from what we are in terms of culture...
2. During the American War for independence, the present day US was formed of several distinct Nations. Such as Texan, Californian Pennsylvanian etc. But they referred to themselves as Americans to Unite against common enemies....
3. It appears that Tagalog as basis of National Language is unfair... Well what more of the Americans who barrowed their national language from the British?? Furthermore!!!
So, you are implying that Philippines is not one nation but of several.. and the Only country to get its name from a foreign colonizer??? You have a point....
BUT.. Time will come Nationalism will be usefull no more... why? Because of GLOBALIZATION, we will then become a UNIFIED WORLD...
1. We shall no longer be proud as Tagalogs or Cebuanos, Filipinos nor other nationality not even Asians or Europeans... But we shall be then proud as a a native of the Earth.
i fucking cried when this video ended. i am of mexican and japanese decent, and over the last few years of my life i have been fixated on pacific culture and its history.
most of my closest friends are filipino and i know that is for a reason. not to say that it is a spiritual reason, but a historical one.
thank you. and i will try to make these videos more popular
@katipunan26 i am very pleased you like the video. I just want to say that we don't hate our Tagalog brothers, we just want to point out what we think is defective in our current political and cultural systems. I hope you'll still find our future videos interesting. :)
@AninoProgram These are thought-provoking videos of which U should be proud. I'm glad to learn that U will produce more. I'd like to see more of what U propose as solutions. I cannot address all the subjects that U cover, so I'll just cover one briefly, i.e. economics. May I suggest a book by Friedrich von Hayek, an economist. It's called "The Road to Serfdom." written for the intelligent layman, not for Hayek's fellow economists. I'd like to know whether or not you agree with Hayek.
