  • It`s true. With the cash and time its gonna cost to put an S4 engine in, you might as well trade in for an S4. But the engine you have (if it`s the 1.8 and not the 3.0) has infinite options.

  • its cause u have a convertible and it wieghs a little more the sedans pull a little harder and i think yours still has a little more to give. ad no u can not put the v8 in the a4 but u can put the old b5 twin turbo v6 in though hope it helps!!

  • Hey Guys i Have . the Audi A4 2005

i Can Change the Engine? and put S4 ENgine? plz awnser

  • Haha, op het circuit natuurlijk!

  • Yeah I don't really know what's up with that. It basically just kept pulling at the same rate the whole way. Maybe it's the automatic transmission? Had it in "S", with aircon and everything running.

Had to brake @ 265 by the way, so I don't know her exact top speed. Will yours do more than this? I can imagine a MT sedan pulling harder than this AT convertible.

Sorry about all the questions, just don't know any people with S4's ;)

    - Cheers

  • Thats weird my S4 pulls much harder than that...
