@platyplatypusface LOL Like Holst going for the astrological meanings, I went with the aspect of change and that it isn't always easy. While writing and recording the song, my life was on the brink of drastic, major change. Some has turned out for the betterment of me, however, it was a very hard and very difficult task and I feel all of the dark energy every time I reflect on that part of my life. Thus, the vibes of darkness. Pluto roams in perpetual darkness, too. ;-)
@1039smoothslaphours LOL, I like that! However, the suite was written from 1914 - 1918. Pluto was discovered until 1930 and Holst was disillusioned by then over the popularity of the suite. So, I won't tell anyone any different if you won't! ;-)
I like this. I like it better then the piece that was officially commisioned for pluto from Collin Matthews. However, I would not choose to play it after Neptune, as music-wise, it was already the perfect ending, showing the mystery of far away outer space.
@AdmRomulus Yeah! LOL Well, being the god of the underworld, everything below the surface belonged to him, meaning all the gold, silver, and precious gems and such.
There is something vaguely Egyptian sounding about this piece, but only until it reaches 1:15. The electric guitar kinda ruins it from there, sorry, Lol!
Thanks for the wonderful comment, John. If I say yes, all my music is this good, will you watch every video? ;-) Let's say there's a lot of variety. But, be sure to check things out anyway!
This is actually kind of creeping me out

@CornOnTheCobIIV I'm sorry. That wasn't my intention. I guess we all take away differing feelings when music touches us in some way. :-)

I would've imagined pluto as a more upbeat, happy planet. Like the dog.

Too bad plutos not a planet.

@highlanderdurp I know! ;-) But, inspiration came to me for it and a few other non-planetary bodies when I recorded my AD ASTRA album.

@RobAstor Holst knew Pluto wasn't a planet way before anyone else :P

@RobAstor The irony being that Pluto technicaly doesn't have an atmosphere, as it is frozen solid.

I see someone else made an Earth, all we need is someone to make the Sun and the solar system is complete!
Well done btw this was very very good

@tiki2188 Thanks you. :-)
RobAstor 8 months ago
@tiki2188 Actually, to go spacegeek on your ass, seeing the idea is called 'planets' suite', the sun wouldn't count.
Also, seeing Pluto isn't technically a planet, you would have to do additional tracks for the other ice rocks floating around the sun beyond Pluto.
Must say the cold sollutide feeling of the track is fitting and would be needed for any tracks for solar sattelites beyond the 9th.

@tiki2188 Actually, we'll also need: NIBIRU - Bringer of Conspiracy Theorists ^^

@HootooAgain LOL I did record a track called "NIBIRU Planet Of The Crossing" that is a part of the AD ASTRA album where this track is found.
