They don't...listen to the pronunciation of certain words, and you can quite easily hear that he, and other British artists, are British.

I was lucky enough to see this guy supporting Corrine Bailey Rae in Manchester before he'd had any TV or radio play and I didn't catch his name on the night or know who he was but he blew everyone away, including Corrine. He reminded me of a young Bruce Springsteen. And now he's all around the world! Awesome talent.
