About the perch, it would be better if you made ceviche out of it than grilling it. That way you dont have to worry about it falling apart while cooking, haha.
well considering i spearfish just about every day i dont go out to shoot perch. the limit is 10 but it is at 10 inches in length... i know my shit because my dad is a fish and game warden. its just pointless to shoot that small of a fish even if it is legal.
Just because you think you know your stuff doesn't mean you are right... I read the regulations and you didn't show me the quote from the regs where it says they must be ten inches. That was my first time spearfishing down in Cali, I don't shoot perch cause after eating it the first time I realized they are too mushy.

Undersized perch? the regulations state
(d) Minimum size: redtail surfperch, ten and one-half inches total length. All other surfperch: none.
So unless I'm missing something enlighten me, otherwise read your regs.
