The doctors at Parkland saw the injuries to the president in the brightest light possible as they were trained to check on the severity of the injuries in order to administer treatment. The pathologists chosen to perform the autopsie weren't experts as they weren't properly trained in forensic pathology while the photographers at the autopsy took the worst kind of pictures imaginable. @Yarggify They'e facts about the context of that Ruby statement which are beyond dispute...He was in a courtroom, flanked by 2 of his appeal lawyers Sol Dann & Elmer Gertz...the appeal was to overturn the 1st trial verdict & it's death sentence & move a new trial out of Dallas. Everything he is saying refers to Judge Brown of the 1st trial (who was disqualified on appeal) and the Dallas Police (whose major testimony was thrown out on appeal).
AND a new trial was set for Witchita Falls, Texas.

The side of his head that exploded is the exit wound. If he was shot from the front to his right, where is the exit wound from that angle? The back of his head was not fine. It was blown open. One autopsy photo shows the back of his head looking fine. Actually, his scalp was being pulled into place by one of the doctors. In fact there's another photo taken from the top of JFK's head when his body was laid out that shows the back of his head missing.
The fact that his head moved "back and to the left" does not indicate the direction of where a shot was fired especially when it's a high velocity round. Hollywood films like to show shooting victim being pushed away from the direction of the shot. This is for visual effect and does not represent fact. If one fires a slow velocity round that's heavy, like a musket ball, you're more likely to see the target move away from the direction of the shot.
I have difficulty with the notion there was more than one gunman. The entrance and exit wounds of Kennedy and Connally don't support that position. As to the movement of the president's head when struck; look closely and he head actually moves forward very quickly and then it moves back and to the left. When looking at evidence,one has to look at all the evidence and how they're all connected. Making judgments on select bits of evidence distorts and blurs the quest to find out what happened.
The right temple was the area of the exit wound. Entry wounds are small, exit wounds large. If the shot came from the front there would be a small hole at the right temple and a large one in the back of Kennedy's head.
And Kennedy recoils back after initially moving slightly forward.

@billyreiid11 If you view the Zapruder film carefully you will see that his head actually is forced forward slightly before it snaps back. Find a copy that has the frame numbers on it, at frame 312 stop it and place a piece of tape w/the edge against Kennedy's head, then advance it again and you will see that the head is forced forward by the bullet. It is after that snapped back by combo of jet effect and neuro-muscular spasm. Welcome to the journey.
Thats ridiculous. If you are shot in the back of the head with a high powered rifle, your head will not snap back in the direction the shot came from. He was shot almost simultaneously from the back and front. The shot from the back caused his head to start forward when it was imediately hit by the bullet from the front causing his head to snap back.

@infrogmation I absolutely agree, everyone - even LHO - deserves a trial, legal representation, and to help in his own defense. I seriously doubt he could have gotten around the overwhelming evidence of his guilt, but he's still entitled to try.
That said, it's possible we know *more* about the assassination because he died. He would never have confessed, and much of what we now know came from Marina, who could not have been compelled to testify.

At one point on Friday night, Ruby was on the third floor, with his revolver in his pocket, as Oswald was led right by him, 3 feet away. Then Ruby was there when Oswald was shown to the press. Why didn't he shoot him then?

He'd gotten quite worked up all weekend over JFK's death, and when he saw Oswald's smirk he just followed his impulses. Ruby also said that had Oswald confessed he probably wouldn't have killed him.
The point is that the claim that Ruby shot Oswald to silence him is easily falsified.

We actually have Ruby to thank for much of what we do know about Lee Harvey Oswald. It's clear he never would have confessed despite the overwhelming evidence against him, so much of what we know about him came from Marina, who could not have been compelled to testify at his trial because of the marital privilege.
She didn't even reveal his attempt on Walker until his incriminating note to her fell into the hands of the police.

@Yarggify They'e facts about the context of that Ruby statement which are beyond dispute...He was in a courtroom, flanked by 2 of his appeal lawyers Sol Dann & Elmer Gertz...the appeal was to overturn the 1st trial verdict & it's death sentence & move a new trial out of Dallas. Everything he is saying refers to Judge Brown of the 1st trial (who was disqualified on appeal) and the Dallas Police (whose major testimony was thrown out on appeal).
AND a new trial was set for Witchita Falls, Texas.

There is barely any conspiracy surrounding JFK's assassination, other than there being multiple assassins. What is known so far is that Lee Harvey Oswald fired three shots at the president, one missed, the other went through his windpipe, and the last ripped his head open. Jack Rubenstein was a Dallas nightclub owner who had some known mob connections. He used a Colt Cobra .38 to kill Oswald. He was arrested and sentenced to death, however he died before trial from lung cancer.

Oswald was guilty and the lone killer. There was no conspiracy. Oswald did it all alone. The police never hit him and he refused legal counsel. Read the Warren Commission Reports. It was clearly a open and shut case. No need for any further speculation. Ruby realized there was no need for a trial and did what he thought was best.

Oswald went the Cuban Embassy but was denied the right to live in Cuba. He also lived in Russia, but when he tried to move back, he was again denied. He firmly believed in Communism, and tried to assassinate one of the former high ranking officers who was anti-communist.
Oswald acted alone. The government has no reason to hide a conspiracy against JFK. if there was a conspiracy from the Cubans or Russians, don't you think LBJ would have declared war?

I agree with your comment. Unfortunately, many of the "questions" are silly and meaningless. A long time ago I believed there was more than one shooter and there were ties between Ruby and Oswald. After doing my own reading spending a great deal of time thinking about what was the most likely answer to the question "Who Killed Kennedy" I concluded LHO was the only gunman involved. The movie "JFK" did enormous damage the the pursuit of
"truth". It's a clever film filled with misinformation.

The side of his head that exploded is the exit wound. If he was shot from the front to his right, where is the exit wound from that angle? The back of his head was not fine. It was blown open. One autopsy photo shows the back of his head looking fine. Actually, his scalp was being pulled into place by one of the doctors. In fact there's another photo taken from the top of JFK's head when his body was laid out that shows the back of his head missing.

The fact that his head moved "back and to the left" does not indicate the direction of where a shot was fired especially when it's a high velocity round. Hollywood films like to show shooting victim being pushed away from the direction of the shot. This is for visual effect and does not represent fact. If one fires a slow velocity round that's heavy, like a musket ball, you're more likely to see the target move away from the direction of the shot.

I have difficulty with the notion there was more than one gunman. The entrance and exit wounds of Kennedy and Connally don't support that position. As to the movement of the president's head when struck; look closely and he head actually moves forward very quickly and then it moves back and to the left. When looking at evidence,one has to look at all the evidence and how they're all connected. Making judgments on select bits of evidence distorts and blurs the quest to find out what happened.

The right temple was the area of the exit wound. Entry wounds are small, exit wounds large. If the shot came from the front there would be a small hole at the right temple and a large one in the back of Kennedy's head.
And Kennedy recoils back after initially moving slightly forward.

@billyreiid11 If you view the Zapruder film carefully you will see that his head actually is forced forward slightly before it snaps back. Find a copy that has the frame numbers on it, at frame 312 stop it and place a piece of tape w/the edge against Kennedy's head, then advance it again and you will see that the head is forced forward by the bullet. It is after that snapped back by combo of jet effect and neuro-muscular spasm. Welcome to the journey.

Thats ridiculous. If you are shot in the back of the head with a high powered rifle, your head will not snap back in the direction the shot came from. He was shot almost simultaneously from the back and front. The shot from the back caused his head to start forward when it was imediately hit by the bullet from the front causing his head to snap back.

Oswald was charged with double murder from the outset without the authorities conducting a proper and thorough investigation.
