buses in the UK has no seat belt, what happen if the bus driver have to brake hard, while as you cannot save a child that is hanging on a cliff for dear life from health and safety just in case you hurt yourself while saving the child. I think health and safety went the wrong way and it stupid and went way too far, e.g. if you have an outdoor event you need shelter if it sunny because people can sue you for getting sunburn, how stupid is that

cant teach intelligence or coordination so why give them false delusions, has just made the roads increasingly dangerous as anyone who can tell left from right for an hour is told their nigel mansell,if you cant work it out for yourself dont touch it as simple as that,i worked in factorys and the only people who lost eyes was those wearing safty glasses is why we refused to wear them, those who lost there hand on press machines was wearing safety gloves is why they was clumsy, sence of touch see

@gosh2013 Getting rid of health and safety regulation is fine with everyone so long as you're willing to pay for the consequences in taxes, additional costs for looking after injuries or loss of time injuries. Plus no companies from outside the country is going to want to come and set up shop if the you're health and safety regs are crap either! Nobody is going to want to employ fucking idiots who have total disregard for safety in the workplace like yourself. Fuck you

We have some of these same stupid rules and laws here in the USA to. What a bloody pain.

H&S regulations are a ridiculous pain in the posterior everywhere. Although I'm in Canada I work in HR and we have the same silliness here. Every summer I have to send someone home from an office to change their shoes if they've worn open toe shoes to the office. H&S says someone once stubbed their toe while wearing sandals so now nobody can. Don't even get me started on the ninnies who insist on special office equipment or who come to me to complain someone is wearing perfume.

not only stupid but expensive. the nhs breeds h&s officers, all of whom have assisstants and each has a secretary. the labour govt. loved all this nonesense. i could never understand it. get rid of it.
