I am american, but half hungarian. My grandfather escaped to the USA in the early 1900s. But when I listen to Muzsika's music, I feel a call and longing in my veins, a connection to my past and my heritage too! My blood cries in recognition to my ancestors! All Hail Magyar!!!!
it sounds like central anatolian turkish kaval and zurna, the sounds of the music and language seems to have similarities with turkey and uralic music..what a beauty...
Minden tisztelet a forrásnak, a berzencei Káplár Andrásnak. A dalt ő éneelte fonográfra vallamikor az 50-s években. A magyar népzene egyik brilliáns darabja.
@MrFefefofo , notice the Hungarian folk clothes and then look in Asia at the folk clothes of Kazakhstanians, Mongolians etc. Seriosly it's remarkably similar.
@gogoasacenusie thank you. And when we say our "bőgatya" (slegs) is one to one sumerian then we are looked stupid.
But not only this is similar to sumerian but the lion of Esztergom, the rovás, and many symbols what you see on the crown also. Most of them pagan but still we have them. Look what happen Csiksomlyó early morning. the people are waiting for the sunawaiking...
The title of this video is incorrect as it should be "old song from somogy".The track is taken from an album called Blues for Transylvania bt Muzsikas. The instrument played on this clip is a bombard and requires a lot of "puff"!. a cimbalom is a stringed instrument, known in english as a hammer dulcimer.
