@Aecusim Gurren Lagann is actually the anglicization of the original グレンラガン、in Japan they use the Japanese language version and are not always aware of how it is spelled in other countries. If we were to go with a direct phonetic translation of グレンラガン it would be Gu-re-n Ra-ga-n. Anyway, we all know what series the character comes from ;)
