  • You are right. That is Deanne Bray, Star of Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye.

  • i think the first woman signing is the actress from Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye.

  • WOW! How AWESOME!! Praise for you & your work! I wish all the success for you and your endeavors. God bless you!

  • why was she using sign language? was she deaf or was she making sure deaf people understood?

  • Hi - This is the only resource available for pregnant deaf women in their native language of American Sign Language (ASL). The closed captioned products are really no substitute for this series that contains more than 7 hours of information provided in ASL.

    Thank you,

    Dave

  • @SignsForIntelligence Hi, I am not deaf but I am a language interpreter and appreciate your efforts and work in having great information out there in English or ASL :D Cheers and may you continue your wonderful work!

  • no you don't want a baby you like the idea of having one. my baby isn't even here yet and i'v already spent around 400 and that just basic stuff. ask any body with children you like the idea of having a baby.

  • Hey girl, I'm 14 and I am pregnant - 15 weeks -, believe me, if you were pregnant right now or any time 'til 24 i believe, it's a disaster... moving but disaster

  • Wow being 14 years old and pregnant must be tough...Usually people are way against teen pregnancy but Ive been fortunate to have a few friends be pregnant at a young age and they are wonderful moms! Its very confusing being pregnant and a teenager at the same time! Hope all goes well for you!

  • it must be really difficult being a child with a child....

  • Hi Jewel -

Good question. This is the first resource in American Sign Language (ASL) that covers the full 9 months of a pregnancy in detail. Pregnant deaf women needed something in their native language to help them better understand the wonderful process they are going through. It is much easier to understand the complexities of a pregnancy in your native language. This product meets that need for pregnant deaf women throughout the asl community.

  • why the heck are they doing it in sign language???

  • I can't afford DVD. I am full time student at ASU. thanks for letting me know it is a demo. I am sure the dvd is very informative. Does your DVD invovles all medical information such as gestersl stage, embroyic stage and fetal stage? does it also explain how conception happens? I will try and see if my mom can buy the dvd for me. Thank you.

  • good job. i am a deaf student studying pregnancy. this video helped me to understand the basic concept of pregnancy stages. I am still searching for a medical pregnancy dvd that is done in sign language that explains everything from conception to childbirth. Thank for the help- back to the book! :)

  • Hello -

This is just a demo as part of a 3 DVD series called Your Pregnancy: What to Expect with more than 7 hours of video. As far as we know it is the only comprehensive resource in ASL for pregnancy deaf women. Our Signs For Intelligence website has additional details.

Good luck with the book! :)
