chimchar rocks! Once infernape.. Gawd its not pretty. i had a lvl 100 infernape.. 1 HIT KO on a empoleon lvl 100! So ya . it can learn grass knot to and other type moves like earthquake. If you want a well trained infernape with a epic moveset try this Infernape lvl 100 Hold item:leftovers moves:close combat,grass knot,earthquake,flamethrower. This infernape will destroy water and grounds types and grass and steel and fire types and dark types! This infernape will be great if you chose it!

@DogOfWar64 I would reccomend Heartgold or Soulsilver. You get a bigger game that spans two regions. It gave us the best pokemon ever Skarmory. and well its a ds remake of the greatest Game Boy game ever.

i tested all three of the pokemon in a battle my friend great moves all lv 100 and i was surprised...... Empoleon came... 3rd. with infernape faster and close combat and torterras earthquake. 2nd Torterra. one blast burn from infernape and it was out with infernapes speed. but empoleon kinda made a come back using ice beam but it still lost and infernape came out on top in my battle with my friend
