Listen, I can take an abridged dictionary of words in 20th century usage and prove baptism is SPRINKLING. I told you to go to an standard unchangeable Greek-English lexicon.

Show us ONE widdle sentence in which the (b) would not be as necessary as the (a)." That's soooooo easy - but notice how you AVOID it. @uwique We're on Mark 16: 16: "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned." You plainly stated that Mark 16 does NOT teach the necessity of baptism. I asked for ONE - not five - ONE sentence in English - just make one up - in which "He that (a) and (b) shall receive $1,000, but he that does not (a) shall not." Show us ONE widdle sentence in which the (b) would not be as necessary as the (a). C'mon now! You haven't done this yet!

You see, if Eph 2: 8 doesn't specifically mention baptism, he'll just turn around and say Mark 16: 16 doesn't mean what it says. See the error in logic there? How about the "faith" in Eph 2: 8 is a inclusive "faith" that includes repentance, loving God, confessing Christ, and baptism? Would that help you?

@lllannallll once u repent,god gives u the undeserve favor that u dont deserve {grace}thru faith,beleiving and trusting that god will forgive u of your sin..remember,,faith is being sure in what u hoped for,,so yes,u did somthing,you asked god to forgive you,and he shed his grace on you,and guess what,,,now your saved,,,notice no water there.baptism has always been a symbol of 1 being saved.

You think the word means "belief only, trust only", when I've told you that the Greek lexicons define the word as "belief, trust, COMPLIANCE, confidence, OBEDIENCE." You are ignoring the "compliance" and "obedience" part TOTALLY. You think if YOU believe, if YOU repent, if YOU pray, if YOU love God, you did NO WORK AT ALL. Illogical, cuz ya DID!

Well, #1 is that you can't find ONE example of an unsaved person PRAYING for forgiveness at ANY time after the death of Christ on the cross. Not ONE. Thousands of conversions, and not a one contains the sinner's prayer or anything like it.

You did all that stuff, then turn around and say you DID NO WORK at all. That's where your mistake is on Eph 2: 8. That's also why you can't answer Mark 16: 16.
