  • how much do you want for it?

  • $600 for it

  • Just about every sci fi spaceship i come across has frickin huge boosters. That wasnt much of a problem with your ship, though

  • what was the first lego SHIP you built?

  • nice ship.

  • Mate, that is superb, quite superb, Dan K, London UK.

  • compare it with a big star wars set like a atot or something

  • is it scaled?

  • simply amazing

  • I think it's neat when people model existing designs, but the real beauty is when people strike out and make their own creations. Love the engine clusters and front-end detailing.

  • Beeindruckend!

  • but anyways u should look up pelta class ship on wookiepidea btw u did a remarkable job on ur custom

  • no offence but i think thats a pelta-class frigate. ive never heard of the paladin but it could be it

  • @Bioniclefan58 Umm, it's my own design, and I named it the Paladin. I never said it was modeled after anything.

  • I'd pay $400 cash for that is Lego sold anything close to this....

Very nice work! Very balanced design +

  • Awesome work! keep that thing up! ;-P

  • HO MUCH ILL BUY IT!?!?!

  • i know something so cool what if alot of lego builders made a life size lego star wars ship

  • i made a paladin cruiser with my venator cruiser and spare parts

  • is this star wars?

  • @ZamCam735 Nope

  • @tarkinfish ya i did not think so :/ nut its still epic!

  • epic win!

  • How many prices does it have?

  • holy shit thats good

  • dude thats fucking epic!!!!

  • Wooooooooow is very good. XD

  • a star wars ship?

  • :l :} :) :D:D:D:D:D:D:D :P

  • :l

  • it looks like destroyer from homeworld 2

  • if i remember, that is almost identical to a clone medical frigate. AWESOME!

  • Have you ever thought about contacting the Lego Group with your creations? I'm sure they'd take you on as a designer with just one look at your youtube channel.

  • That is sweet as dude. Roughly how much did all the parts cost you?

  • @sneakyfred Thanks! Most of the parts came from my existing collection. Purchasing them all would probably cost at least $1000.

  • @BluesMan109 Holy crap, that's ridiculous. I have quite a large collection of bits and bobs, but unfortunately they're not particularly colour-coordinated; it makes large-scale models like this a bit hard to do. Nice work though! When's the next instalment?

  • @sneakyfred I've amassed a lot of gray over the years--I probably have more of it than every other color put together.

The next installment is already complete. Check out the Manticore. I can't post a link here, but it's the most recent video in my channel.

  • @BluesMan109 This ship has inspired me to make a ship out of lego. do you think most of the parts would still be available somewhere?

  • awesome!!!!!!!!

  • That's amazing dude.

  • omg that is amazing

  • this is amazing

  • That's all lego pieces wow!

  • thats the stealth ship right

  • i wish i could build spaceships like this, but i cant.

#1 im not the most patient guy in the world.

#2 the building techniques are hard to master!

#3 i wouldn't have the room to store it!

so im just sticking with lego buildings. (modular buildings, skyscrapers etc.) which makes up for it!

  • Epic frakking ship! The only thing is that the CSR seems to be a mite small.

  • you should make a battle star class cruiser or somthing like the battle star galagtica or pegasus that would be cool

  • You didn't really size it too anything

  • @TheEidsness44 It's almost exactly four feet long. My latest ship is quite a bit larger.

  • ill buy that ship off you

  • Looks Homeworld-inspired

  • @Sulacu That, and maybe a bit of the Venator Star Destroyer from Star Wars, the engines and the depression in the sides of the hull remind me of that ship class.

  • how long did it take you to make it?

  • @superfessel About 2 months.

  • ommfg

  • That's so epic it doesn't even look like it's made of LEGO bricks!

  • Nice!! So what do you do with it after its done?

  • @codyfst It was on my coffee table in my living room for awhile. I took it apart after about a year.

  • @smokybacon66 Did you see the motorized boarding ramp at the end of the video?

  • only 65,000 that aint right. david has a ton more views on his army vids and that just takes cash this takes true talent(thumbs up if u agree)

  • Wow! How do you build this?

  • its a battlestar!!!

  • It dosen't look lego at all.

  • He is lvl 85 Retribution paladin , right ?

  • 5 People were failed at making this MOC.

  • this ship is verry cool you are awsome

  • so awsome now thats what I call TALANT!:-)

  • this urged me to sub so i did this is amazing lol

  • Damn what a BEAUTY!

  • are you selling this like could you remake it

  • Chuck Norris cried from watching this cut it's so EPIC

  • @legofinatic345 lol, thanks!

  • @BluesMan109 your welcome and where did you get the pieces for this pick a brick?

  • @legofinatic345 I got a lot of parts used on ebay. I use Bricklink if I need something specific.

  • Dude, you got too much time on your hands.......but I don't think that's a bad thing.

  • @Terran123rd How I wish that were true. This thing took months to complete, because I have no free time.

  • @BluesMan109 Still, an awe inspiring ship. I wish I had the Legos, time, and skills to make something like this. My hat's off to you.

    (I faved this vid BTW)

  • @Terran123rd Thanks! I've been working on another one for ~7 months, which I think will blow this one away.

  • I'm glad to see other people my age still in to the legos.

    My collection is at 48lbs.

  • good build, but, i gotta break it to ya. it looks like a penis

  • very cool.

    love the engines ^^

  • super statek przypomina mi transportowiec medyczny z gwiezdnych wojen (ang.star wars)

  • iam telling you should enter this to MR.Lucas himself he would love this ship

  • that door was fuckin sweet!

i would love to build stuff like that but if i did itd b all kinds of colors since i dont own that many

  • This is an extraordinary piece of work Blake! I am currently writing a book called "legend of the Halbaerd" which is a sci fi story of an adolescent called Alex who is assigned aboard the IF48-9903-Halbaerd starship and I was wondering whether you could build a lego rendition of the Halbaerd. it looks vaguely similar to paladin, except the engines are smaller, it has a yellow orb in the bow, and fabric solar "wings". I will not mind if cannot build it, but I would greatly appreciate it.

  • W0W

  • awesome

  • How do you afford this O___O It's awsome!

  • @RobloxBestPilot Thanks! I purchased much of my collection used, which brings down the price a lot. I'm also 27 years old and employed.

  • Hey man I'm totally wondering where the heck did u get all on the specially designed legos, especially for the engines!!!!

  • @pzagv There are no specially designed Legos in this ship, nor are there any cut/glued/modified parts. If you look at the high resolution photos (the link is in the video description), you'll see that it's all normal bricks.

  • @pzagv I like to call it: "Breaking the system". It's just taking a whole different approach to how you put the parts together. The possibilities with Lego are endless! If you know the right building techniques and have a vast amount of Legos...

  • hey, awsome moc!!!!! do you mind if i use some of these pics in a movie i'm making? i'll give FULL credit!

  • @Killershrimpvds Thanks! Use whatever pics you want, I don't mind at all. There are higher resolution photos on my website (the link is in the video description).

  • @BluesMan109 thanks! ^_^

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

  • did you create this or is this something off of starwars,,very cool!

  • from what theme is that?

  • nicee. im only 14 so i cant really afford to make something of this caliber. But i will give you this: my subscription

  • @GaseousCosine Thanks! Keep collecting, and you'll get there one day. I'm 27 years old, so I've had a lot of time to amass a huge number of bricks.

  • OH MY GOD! That is sweet! Keep up the great work!

  • tell me where do you get all these bricks to build this cuz i wanna try to do a large ship too

  • Well, better go sell your legos kids; nothing will ever be as cool as this.

  • @wrylie188 Thanks! If any kids take your advice, I would be happy to buy their Legos. :)

  • cool lego set

  • @thegoonandthug Thanks! It's not a set, though--I designed it myself.

  • @BluesMan109 If LEGO released a set like this, it would be WAY too pricey.

  • beautifull! good job there. notice the toilet. nice details.

  • is this republic? or is it imperial

  • @zach8299 It's not really meant to be in the Star Wars universe.

  • @BluesMan109 battlestar galactica universe, then?

  • @AirborneSoviet I didn't build this with any popular science fiction story in mind. I imagine it existing in a fictional time in our future.

  • Thanks! This took about 2 months from start to finish.

  • Amazing! How can u dislike this video?

  • Holy crap!!!! Awesome! Are you working at Lego or is it just a hobby?

  • @Apfelschorle1975 Thanks! I don't work for Lego, but I wish I did!

  • this ship is beast, but does it have any hangers???

  • @ExEPIDEMIC Thanks! There are no hangers. It's minifig scale, and not quite large enough.

I'm working on a new SHIP that has two fighter bays. It will be considerably larger. Here's a picture of what I've done so far: flickr [dot] com/photos/blake-foster/4735129291/

  • this things beast, but does it have any hangers? that would make this ship a godd

  • duude that things beast, just wondering.... does it have any hangers? like... at all?

  • god damn! your good!

  • how did you plan this out?

did you just put a couple of pieces together and then started from there or did you sketch it, etc?

  • @Queerdragon11 I started with a sketch, although I deviated from it considerably. When I'm unsure where to go next, I'll build the basic shapes in low detail. When I'm happy with the overall design, I rebuild it more carefully.

  • Cool ship Blake, nice details and i like the engine parts you made

  • did u ever think of making a droid ship and doing a lego stop-motion space battle

  • what program did u use to make this

  • @captainrex12345678 This is built with Lego, I didn't use any program to make it.

  • how big is it compared to a venator

  • @TheBradbury5 This is minifig scale, so if this (and a Venator) were real, the Venator would be quite a bit larger. This ship is quite a bit larger than the 8039 Venator set, though. It's almost exactly four feet long, which makes it more than twice the length of the set.

  • Give me thumbs if Lego should produce an Series for Big Guys !!!

  • WHO LET THIS MAN INTO OUR DESIGN ROOM?

    -Darth Vader + Some Engineers

  • u have some real talent that ship is bad ass

  • Can I use it in one of my movies like a space scene?

  • @fox454x Sure, but please give me credit (at the end of the video would be fine).

  • @BluesMan109 thanks

  • you should make an animated film of this it would be awesome

  • That is amazing. I wish i had that many pieces.

  • dude if that came out in stores i would buy many of them its sick

  • Hey blake, where do you get all of you pieces from? like what website would I go to to, to get so many pieces?

  • @bbng365 I started off with a fairly large childhood Lego collection, although I didn't have a lot of gray. I bought many large boxes of Legos on ebay, including several boxes of only gray. Ebay is a good way to stock up on parts when you're not looking for anything specific (it's a lot cheaper than buying Legos new). Bricklink is another great resource, if you're looking for a specific part. You can buy pretty much any part that has ever been made without purchasing an entire set.

  • it is awesome

  • one word. FUCK!

  • two wordsz: epicly amazing!

  • dude awesome how much $ did it cost 2 make it thumbs up great job

  • @Blockhead0110 Thanks! A Paladin was a knight from Charlemagne's court. It seemed like an appropriate name, since the ship vaguely resembles a sword (if you see it from overhead).

  • That's awesome. Really imaginative. Did you design it first or did it just come together?

  • @Danny77uk Thanks! I made a few sketches before I started building, but I didn't follow them very closely. For my newest SHIP (still a work in progress), I scanned one of my sketches, blew it up, and printed it on to 10 pages. The new SHIP is going to be so large that it would be difficult to get the scale of the various components right without a 1:1 reference.

  • I am LEGO builder myself, but design and structure of this is just awsome, especialy engines are mada beautiful

  • Fuckin awesome!

  • I really want to know how you manage to put over the side engines the oval cover, I can;t think of a way

  • @66yahoo6 The sides of the engines are built with 1 x 4 hinge plates. I used 3 x 2 slope bricks on the top and bottom. I can send you some higher resolution pictures of the engines if you want.

  • woaw now that is wat i call epic areyou a professional lego desinger or sumin

  • Wow, A beautiful space craft design. Good Job.

  • Verrrry nice. Looks mostly studless, well, except the greeble parts.

  • AWESOME!!

  • awesome! do you know how much it weighs?

  • it looks so cool

  • You rock man that is so cool!

  • do u know how many pieces it is

  • Probably around 10,000. That's just a guess.

  • so freekin awsome, every inch has so much detail

  • Thanks for entering my contest. This isn't quite origonal, cos you see alot of lego spaceships around but, oh, look at it, it's awesome! Looks strong too. This is a great model. 10/10

  • you rock

and the red trail of the ship looks

    like a sword

  • Thanks! The sword-like shape inspired the name The Paladin, although it was pretty much an accident that it came out shaped that way.

  • maybe you could do a

    lightsaber next time. :-D
