As they turned off the lights at the wrecking ball-fated Milwaukee County Stadium in 2000 for the last time, this song came on the PA system and caught the fans off guard. I don't mind admitting I really lost it. So many memories at that final ballgame. I regard League of Their Own as my favorite baseball movie.

Yeah, that's when the tears come for me. Guys are not supposed to weep over this kind of music, but there are so many sides of the story I really love. Penny Marshall did herself proud as a director with this flick. And casting Madonna was a bit of genius.

I am the person who got that kiss. We filmed this portion of the movie in my hometown of Huntingburg, Indiana about 1 mile behind my house. I was 20 or 21 at the time. Wow! The memories. I'm glad I found this clip. That's me at 2;17 getting that kiss.

1992 that seems like so long ago but this movie is timeless and will always have a speical place in my heart for knowing that there's no crying in baseball but harder to say in real life. Best movie ever for a bunch of great girls thank you for sharing this video it made me smile and take a deep breath remembering this time of the1990's. Five stars ~ JLF~ ;b)

best line...It's suppose to be hard. If it was easy, everyone would do it. The HARD is what makes it great. We said that over and over in Combat. United States Marine here..Now fading off to cancer that is terminal. Ironic, survive many, many battles, but die in a hospital room. I'm young and I'm scared.
