Hey, i´m from germany. A fan since ...Take That! I meet Rob 13 or 14 jears ago. (Sorry my english is not goot). He was so cute. His eyes are so green... loveley! The best pop music has always been Brit pop and here in the States we could definately use another British music invasion like the one going on in the 80's when I was born. Unfortunately Robbie won't be in the vanguard of it since he's too lazy to tour in the U.S. & therefore no one knows who he is. Plus his musical selections are much too Brit/Euro-centric.

He'll never sell any records over here.

Even a crap group like U2 said it took them 10yrs of coming over & playing before they broke!

@MANHATTANBEEFMAN I have been a fan of RW since 1999-2000 when he first came to the US. I think its ridiculous that the States never took to him, cause his music is brilliant. As for your opinion of U2 - they are anything but a "crap group".

Robbie is a natural entertainer & miles ahead of many U.S. acts - but the truth is that his solo musical selections don't translate well over here - they're too goofy & he comes off as trying too hard to please everyone. I think he's very likeable as a person and he even has developed a decent singing voice. He would be a great act in Las Vegas someday - if he ever gets anyone to recognize who he is over here. He is virtually anonymous here. Here he is a modern day Cliff Richard.

I have my own personal theory on why he chose to be with that woman..she's american and not successfull at all overthere or overhere...he feels a lot of pressure from the uk more than any where else in the world so you have a gilr who comes from somewhere they hardly know him and who's definitely less accomplished than he is..it's an easy guess this one..she probably makes him feel good about himself cause she's is no match or challenge for him...and yes I hate her
