i always thought msts looked a bit crayon if you know what i mean, no office phat but you have just proved my point no matter what msts vid it is i reckon a 4 year old picked the colours and the graphics
Is the first ten seconds meant to be poole train station?. I have to be honest, i thought only the footbridge and the barriers were a fairly accurate emulation. Where is 6:20 meant to be?, at first i thought it was meant to be cosham, but is it brockenhurst?
Yeah it is. Seeing as the route runs for hundreds of miles, it's hard to expect each station to look just like its real life counterpart. And yes, 6:20 is Brockenhurst.
Yeah, look at part 3 of this video and the credits at the end tell you what was used. The activity is by the late Jamie Bowey and I really recommend it from his 'SWT Slammer Pack'.
Great video (as ever!) Is this an activity included with CD v3? I really like the "endurance" activities - tests your concentration! I've just ordered my copy (cant wait after watching your vids - or for the release of v5!)
Could you also tell me please whether there are many freight/shunting activities etc? (Any chance of a video of one? ;-) Sorry to bombard you, but I love all aspects of modern railways, your videos and also you seem really adept at answering peoples comments!
Hi! I get an e-mail everytime someone comments one of my videos, that's why I'm so quick :). As far as I know, this doesn't come with the CD, it is however in an activity pack on UTKS (File ID: 17086).
I seem to remember there are quite a few freight activities, mostly 66s and 60s though. Regarding shunter activities, there maybe one but that's it.
Thanks very much! Maybe I'll have a go at making some then. I'm surprised there aren't more shunting activities given the huge yards I know it incorporates, and although I don't know to what detail Southampton is done to (yet) surely you can't miss freight around there ;-)
does this have hinton admaril and new milton stations?

how come the train leaves at 0:50 at a red signal?
carlisleboyz 4 years ago
As said below, it's a red because the unit I connect up to is occupying the section so permission was granted to proceed from the signalman.
phat2003uk 4 years ago
why was there a 93 on the back because this trains always have 2 red blocks
sean4472 4 years ago
Yes, this is due to a texturing error I think, can be easily fixed but I didn't spot it before I filmed.
phat2003uk 4 years ago
u went thru a red signal
UkRailPics 4 years ago
I gained permission from the signalman first though, the reason it was red was because the class 421 was occupying the siding.

This trains makes the same sound as the dutch mat'64 train.
Sandervg14 4 years ago
Cool, maybe they have the same bogies.
phat2003uk 4 years ago
that's possible. but this trains has a 3th rail system and the dutch trains has a overhead wire.
Sandervg14 4 years ago
can you do london underground routes on this thing?
alduflo 4 years ago
There are a selection of routes but a sim called BVE is better suited, search for a site called 'Trainsimcentral' and look there.
phat2003uk 4 years ago
yeah, i know, i already have BVE and its great, but most of the route websites are offline, what tube routes do you have on MTS?
alduflo 4 years ago

This is more like a job than a game isn't it?
Why don't you see about getting a job as a train driver and make some money out of it.
Roblodocus 4 years ago
It's enjoyable though if you're a rail enthusiast. Even if it's hard to believe :).
