  • yeah right but Eric Boehlert is fucking HOT

  • Media Matters is useless.

  • 2.8

  • Hilarious. simply hilarious.

  • Eric Boehlert obviously ripped wings off live butterflies when he was a child.

  • BBOOOOOOOOOOoooooorrrrrring.

  • @NewYorkViolets I thought New York had no violets..

  • The Justice system doesn't work because it can't work. It isn't a thing at all but rather a proposition and opposes it's own first principles. It states that nobody has the "right" to murder, kidnap, steal or threaten another person and yet the police reserve ALL of those "rights". How can you expect that system to work? It doesn't even make any sense!

  • If you can holler out that Joe Smith lied about something - anything - the color of his dog, or how many pockets he has on his snowmobile suit, or the room temperature in his kitchen or whatever - and it slips through without a forceful and compelling refutation, then, forever afterward, in any context, you can refer to him not as "Joe Smith", but as "The Known and Proven Liar Joe Smith", or "Previously Discredited Joe Smith." Heck, they built the entire "Bush Lied" meme this way.

  • u mad?

Pissed he's making fun of your boyfriend?

  • Never mind. You said "Bowler"(sp?). My bad.

  • Eric Bolling? Who's on Fox News and hates the Obama administration?

  • Im not surprised this happened. This is what always happens when the government is control. Disaster, corruption and abuse.

And the liberals all support the criminals. Proof that government can't be trusted.

  • he has guts putting his ugly face on youtube for everyone to see....

  • @muratshawn I don't need you posting your face to understand what a stupid fucker you are.

  • ...and you have guts putting your ass out here for everyone to see ;)

  • You've got to be kidding me...you lost me in the first 10sec..i have no idea what this is all about...

  • Maybe put some pictures on your walls in the background other than that five stars .

  • NOW I understand why some people will disable comments.

  • Betcha the driver was a nigger.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @dominican: I just can't figure out how to out ugly you. What you've posted here is just as ugly as it gets. You're too fucked up in the head to pay attention to anyway. Just don't use the word "Betcha", it makes Sarah Palin look bad.

  • mabe he shouldn't play on the street then.

  • another words the Nazis (media matters) are looking for recruits?

  • Had to get rid of the 666 ratings...so i gave 5 stars for 667

  • @deegan: we know the bias of Fox. We're just glad to have a refuge from progressive TV. Fox beats MSNBC 18 fold on some nights during prime time. Boy, that sure is a lot of "astro turf" huh?

  • Comment removed

  • Oh right... I'm sure they'd be better off watching MSNBC which not at all bias. I'm glad I only had to type that comment because I don't think I could have said that with a straight face. :-)

  • Wow after all this time your still full of shit. i guess time doesn't change people

  • @warren

Someone like you, who subscribes to fags like ShaneDawson and RayWilliamJohnson , really doesn't matter what the fuck you think. You're just a tool anyhow.

  • Where did he lie?... oh right, he didn't... You're just ignorant.

  • Why is it relevant that it's a government vehicle?

Oh, right, you don't like the government, so you try and repeat that it was a government vehicle as much as possible to somehow implicate them.

  • @Grn0a: I think that what he is saying is that if you leave the scene of a crime you go to jail, unless you work for the government and drive a government vehicle. Are we a nation laws or a nation of men? Members of the Duma in Russia can commit a rape in the middle of Red Square and not be prosecuted for it. Is that what we want here? whether we like or "don't like" the government I should hope not.

  • The narrative presented is fallacious, though. The drivers of the vehicle called to report an injured person, though they likely didn't take the precautions necessary.

However, HTWW et al are using this to justify a wider, exaggerated position that somehow this is the breaking down of laws. Your examples are representative of this.

Get a hold of yourself--the situation will get sorted out.

  • @Grn0a: "this is agent 006 reporting and accident. Citizen down, citizen down! Send in the cleanup crew, STAT! We are proceeding to check point delta, over and out..

  • @Grn

I didn't hear HTWW say that this was "the breaking down of laws". That is itself a fallacy.

I on the other hand would argue that this is exactly how laws work. In favor of those with the guns and the money. 9 times out of 10 anyway, but a cat born with 3 legs doesn't invalidate biology now does it?

  • this guy is completely full of shit

  • I don't see the point in doing that. Media Matters is geared towards liberals who don't watch Fox anyway, so they aren't exposed to their "stupidity". Fox has mostly conservative base who don't give a rat's ass about Media Matters. So, if the people that like Media Matters don't watch Fox, and the people who watch Fox don't listen to what Media Matters has to say, what's the point of Media Matters?

  • any argument that CNBC Republicans make is negated by the Fox Noise Republicans who are BATSHIT INSANE.

It seems to me that the $ guys are using the Beck's Moron Squad as foot soldiers.

  • Hey Thanks for the truth Lee. As always *****!

  • If misinformation really mattered to Mediamatters, there mission statement would be "Exposing all misinformation in the media" not just the one sided poppycock they exploit with every video upload of crap they post!

  • jim treacher officially lied when he claimed the police told him the vehicle belonged to the secret service. officially.

    the official KEvron

  • this guy has no life. lol

  • Jim should talk to an attorney. There are a slew of charges he can bring.

  • obfustication also in the way you cherry-pick the *cavalier, on-the-street*info for vehicle description, but then go *research DC regulations* about how much paperwork they have to fill out before leaving the accident.

Since the repubs are blocking all appointees in the senate im sure they havn't gotten around to creating that cabal of gov't Obamadrivers.

  • Oh the drama...

how can you have this back-and-forth of online sketchy info? Maybe MM was reporting incorrect info just as blogger hit was repeating what he was told. (incorrect?) It's not right of course, but be consistant!

Also he was "hit" while supposedly jaywalking, and you say "run over in a crosswalk".

You could be right or wrong in this case, and of course there should be sympathy for the hurt blogger. But lets have some real and accurate info instead of random drivel.

  • "how can you have this back-and-forth of on-line sketchy info?"

    because it's official.

    KEvron

  • For those who seem to not understand the difference between socialism and communism, heres a couple of points (although written as basic as poss as you seen to need that). Communism = All for state, no class difference, the government controls all, generally becomes a police state(though not always). Socialism = government support and help such as national rail, post, health, etc etc (of which iirc, were cheaper when gov run in the UK, fully gov run, decades ago...). Difference there lads.

  • that is a terrible/very biased definition of socialism. in fact, all you did was list examples of areas that have been socialized. without the examples your definition was "government support and help". that is a very broad definition and does not begin to describe socialism. i realize it was a brief comparison to socialism, but surely you could have come up with something better

  • @Celticsbball15

its because i cba going into a 200000 word essay on the differences of modern socialism communism and capitalism etc. :p

  • fair enough.

  • @Mitch: re: communism vs. socialism

My wife grew up in the Soviet Union and she was taught that communism is the Ideal and Socialism was a stepping stone to Communism. Further, under that definition Communism has never existed at all. The Soviets called them selves the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic for a reason. The Soviets used famine as an instrument of genocide against the Ukrainians killing 20,000,000 men, women and children. Not the Union of soviet communist republic, but socialist.

  • @Frumibandersnatch

later on "socialism" was very different to the earlier years i grant you, it turned very ugly once stalin took power. Also, as for chernobyl and the downfall of the USSR, remember when it happened the rubel was equal to the dollar then after it the rubel was pretty much worthless, in 1 single event the strength of an empire was destroyed leading to the end of it.

  • @Mitch: I cannot figure out how to say this with out making a personal insult. I do not mean this as a personal attack but I believe that you may be what Lenin called "useful idiots". I really don't mean this to insult your intelligence, I'm sure you're smart enough, but you have to know that if the Soviet economy were strong and vibrant even Chernobyl sized disaster would only put a dent in it. Their Military spending was out of control while the infrastructure was falling apart. (more)..

  • @Frumibandersnatch

It itself didnt fully destroy the nation, but it but a massive bloody dent into it which crippled the nation after. at least from the records i know, if such an accedent happened in say, the USA, the costs to stop the spread of radiation would have crippled the US too along with the military spending etc

  • @Frumibandersnatch

as with everything, its not a case of 1 thing doing it, but you have to admit, something like this could very easily break a nation yet alone 1 in that kind of condition. Perhaps if it didnt happen, the USSR wouldnt have ended so fast, or maybe the military might have been cut down but other areas could have been supported. The main factor is all this money used to solve it, money which could have saved the USSR in all honesty (if a couple of smart people worked it out)

  • @Frumibandersnatch

as for the "useful idiots", i know you dont mean it to be insulting, but i know to well what it means, and no, i understand my history, i look at all the angles, and when you have something which has such an impact, you must respect its ability to change history (i am a firm believer in the "a single bullet can change the word" theory)

  • (cont).. With out a price structure, their GDP figures were meaninless. Where western countrys were measureing their GDP in the manufacture and sale of the early computers, cell phones etc., The Soviet GDP was measured in how much cement was produced whether or not that resource was needed at the time or not. Civilian air transport at the time was carried by IL-2's a 14 place bi-plane. Often with 30% of its rivets missing. (more)...

  • (cont).. It was not chernobyl that brought down the soviet economy, it was the soviet economy that brought down Chernobyl.

  • what is SUV?

  • can you show us your abs again please lee?

  • @Lighthouse724

If it's useless info, why do you consitantly view HTWW?

  • Quit drinking the hateraid Liberhouse724. lol I still can't believe that you wrote something negative on my channel comments section. Your only the 2nd or 3rd person to do so. How Rude!! I may have to censor my channel comments in the future, which goes against my Principles!

  • I agree with this vid. Earache B. and David Brock have been reduced to the pettiest of contrarian muckraking. What a bunch of scumbags.

  • The mission of exposing conservative misinformation in the news could be furthered by covering up criminal activity by the Liberal Democratic Administration, especially the State Dept. Now who is it exactly that is in charge over there?...wait a minute...

Do a favor, maybe get a sizable donation? Or engender a quid pro quo situation with those on the periphery who would approve of such action?

    And that's how patronism works.

  • So, franzpolak, let's hear exactly what's wrong about the facts presented here. Your rebuttal?

Oh, that's right. You think you can just say the words "fraud" and "bullshit" and make the facts go away. Yer funny.

  • Just another case of Liberal Lying. I'm not surprised. It's like all the snow being dumped on DC. So much they had to cancel the Global Warming Conference. Yeah, there's irony for ya. Al Gore lied about Global Warming, & DC is snowed in, I wonder if any of the Lefties there are getting the message yet? No, probably not, cuz now it's "Climate Change". Amazing...

  • Oh... So THATS what Oblama meant when he was talking about HOPE and CHANGE... He hoped he'd pick the right title if not then CHANGE... Gotcha! LOL

  • XNoReply...lol. Love it

  • Lying for "Media Matters" is their bread and butter, their heart and soul, their primary drive and their number one objective.

  • you could do a five hour documentary on how raunchy Media Matters is, but you'd have to talk really fast. Good job Lee, people need to hear about this low class group of thugs.

if the presidential election didn't show you how disgusting they were to begin with, well...Olbermann's ratings are way down for a reason. 200,000 viewers are not enough to justify his $4 mil/yr salary from NBC.

I don't think they even watch their own material it's so bad.

  • Shame= The best remedy for an asshole.

  • Loved it, like stand up comedy. 5 stars

  • If the socialists ever stopped publicly debasing themselves in defense of their vile political theology -- as the Media Matters moron did -- then they might have to actually address the political points of their adversaries.

They're smart enough to know that's not a viable option. They're smart enough to know their politics are transparently depraved.

So many miss that part about them, and are ever distracted by their purposeful distractions.

  • @MicholSmeg

Socialism is the world's most effective human exterminator. In its relatively brief debut, it has slaughtered more innocent civilians than all other forms of human strife combined.

Either your ignorance is absolute, or you are one of its depraved devotees. Either way, your politics are as toxic to humanity.

    CHANGE!

  • @TylerNull

what evil men do using whats around them cannot be used as evidence against the system that was used. Socialism has not been used to kill massive amounts of people, i would think you mean communism, which is very different, only a fool cant tell between the 2. Most of europe is socialist right now, wheres the blood spilling?

  • @Mitchof: re: most of Europe is socialist right now...

When we have unemployment of 10% we're scared, when France is running 10% unemployment they're having a pretty good year. Greece is going belly up and so is Spain and Portugal. California is also going under as well as Michigan, New Jersey has declared a financial state of emergency. New York is not far behind. All following Keynesian, socialist economic policies. How are the poor and downtrodden doing in these places?

  • @Frumibandersnatch

spain doesnt have social context at all (they barely have fecking human rights yet alone a care for people) and so on.Though i can tell you a nice list of socialistic nations that have done well. 1 thing though, why the hell do people when they see a guy saying "socialism does have good qualities" think its "we must have full socialism?", full anything doesnt work, you take the best of each area. Though people like this guy (htww) hates anything to do with it

  • @Mitch: re: Why do people reject partial socialism? (paraphrased)

Because partial socialism doesn't remain partial. Let's use the FDIC as an example, it sounds good, protecting the little guy from loosing his deposits. But there are unindended consequences, now the banks say "ah ha!! our depositors will be bailed out if we make bad investments." so they leverage out 40:1. Now we need to make new regulations to compensate for the behaviour that was created by the FDIC act. (more)....

  • @Frumibandersnatch

as for doesnt remain partial, it doesnt always have to expand to the full qualities, like with Lenin, i love the good he did for the weak and the poor for women etc, but i dont want to give up democracy for a vanguard government. You can take the best of 1 world and stick it in, just needs to boot greed in the nik naks.

  • @Mitch: re: Democracy

"Democracy is two wolfs and a sheep deciding what to have for lunch" said Benjamin Franklin. He obviously did not agree with you on Democracy being that vanguad of anything but tyranny. How about Nancy Pelosi, how much good did she do for the weak and poor when she cut off water to the central valley farms to save the California bait smelt? How well are they doing the government defaults on all its commitments? (more)..

  • @Mitch: ...(cont)

I do not believe that your compassion is wrong. Who can argue against compassion. It is the unintended consequences that harm the poor and weak. Social security is another great example of a compassionate plan that is abused by the socialists. The first person to collect paid nothing into it and now, people that have paid their whole lives will not see anything. In short, a Ponzi scheme. A fine ideal, turned into a Ponzi scheme.

  • @mitch: (cont)..

So, the moral hazard created by the first act (FDIC) requires more measures to obviate the first. This is true of almost every regulation made by central planners. But the reckless investment by the banks isn't blamed on the moral hazard of bail outs, it is invariably blamed on "greed" and it is under this delusion that the new regulations are made. The unintended consequences of the FDIC act are never seen and so never delt with. This is why partial socialism is not possible.

  • @Frumibandersnatch

as for the bad banks etc, ofcourse, to have socialism you cant have greed, thats the problem, although i think people should pay for their own errors. But that isnt always a view of many socialists (myself i am more tory when it comes to banks, let em fend for themselves). But for the poor young old weak, you need to look after them and tbh, the way the US do it atm sucks(and nowhere near as good as others).

  • @Mitch: yes, getting rid of a human trait that has existed for tens of thousands of years is a problem, a big problem, an insurmountable problem. But blaming the market crash on greed is like blaming an airplane crash on gravity, certainly a factor yes, but not the cause. What causes the "lift" in my analogy? Fear, but the moral hazard (Freddie, Fanny, FDIC etc.) intoduced by government removes that fear and that's when gravity take over. I'm glad to see that you'd let banks fail, that's good.

  • Correction: I meant to say that the moral hazard created by the FDIC requires more measures to obviate the uninenteded consequences of the first. Not to obviate the FDIC act itself.

  • @Mitch: re: "i can tell you an nice list of socialistic nations that have done well"

Could I see that list? Because I think that if central planners were really as smart as we all would hope, they would be at the head of productive and profitable companies instead of telling the actual heads of these companies what to do. Like the difference between film critics and film directors. Those that can't do, instruct. Did you watch that Rober Reich video? That is where central planning always ends.

  • @Frumibandersnatch

the uk did fairly well with a semi socialist gov(back when it was done properly before we got idiots). The low countries are doing well last i checked, scandinavia too. Hell, even early USSR under lenin was doing damned well till he died and stalin took over(free health for all, massive production of industry/electric increase(factor of 4 or something increase), free schools, womens rights(became the best for that too at the time). Its not all bad, doesnt need to go full.

  • @Mitch: re: idiots

This is perhaps the most important point. If you want central planners, you could never find people that are smarter than Adam Smith invisible hand. And they'd have to possess an ommipotent awarness of supply and demand, not only at the point of sale of the widget, but along the whole supply chain of all the materials that went into that widget. accross the vast distances of those materials origins and the vast temporal distances from the time when the (more)..

  • @Mitch: (cont)...

..vast temporal distances from the time that the metals (for instance) were mined that metals value in that times supply and demand vs. its value at the time you bring it to the smelters including the tax to the country of origin plus shipping etc. You get the idea. Now multiply this by millions of products. It cannot be done by central planners. A rail road tycoon know when to change the bearings on his cars, central planner do not. (more)..

  • @Mitch: (cont)..

..Central planners to not. Smiths invisible hand is not some metaphysical entity, it is that rail road tycoon who knows when to change his bearings while central planners would not, millions and millions of times over. Although, when I think of Adam Smiths invisible hand, I get an image of "Thing" from the Adams family. Adams familys visable hand? R,R,R,R,R,R

  • @Frumibandersnatch

oh and 1 last thing, just because a system failed, doesnt mean the system was flawed every single time, you must take into context other factors, such as communism and the USSR, that basically collapsed because of chernobyl. Other nations which took on "socialist" views were better then governments before them a good deal of the time, or their nation was on the brink of self destruction anyway. But when you have a stable nation try a system, its a more successful "test"

  • and to be honest, its always a sad day when a politician or person tries to use a bad example to "1 up" the other side, history is history, whne you talk about it learn to do so as a unbias historian, take both the good and the bad points, look at them, investigate them, dont just listen to a pillock who wouldnt know historical context if it slapped him in the face with a wet fish.

  • @Mitch: likewise, it is a sad day when one or two examples is held up a proof of a social concept in a sea of tyrannical disasters. History is history, true, National socialists, Bolshevic socialists, Cuba, Cambodia, Venisuala, Red China, Viet Nam, North Korea, Yugo Slavia.

I have to go now but I will try to address more of your points later. I agree with some of your points, which I will aslo address later. today I hope but gotta go now.

  • Correction, Venezuela. My aunt and uncle lived there and I can't even spell it.

  • @Mitch: re: Chernobyl

Cherobyl? A big problem for Ukraine yes. But I can't see it being the downfall of a vast empire unless there were some other fundamental problems with its economy in the first place. Can you better support that argument? My inlaws still live in Russia they are afraid to take any medicine that is specific to old peoples illness'. They are afraid that the government has determined poisening the pensioners is the best way to deal with the "pension problem".

  • @Mitchof: Communism is taking contol of the means of production by direct confiscation of it. Socialism is taking control of the means of production by means of regulation of it.

Here is one of those regulations proposed by Robert Reich economic advisor to President Clinton..

    watch?v=tMCigXbNnNE

The wonders of socialism presented by one of you own... enjoy!!

  • @TylerNull

seriously mate, learn the fucking difference, scandinavia is currently socialist, the most peaceful nations on earth (also interesting to note the most athiestic aswell it seems). Seriously, head out arse, grab a book, learn the difference. Thanks.

BTW, do you know what socialism actually even is while you slander those who like it? From you're words you dont, if u did know, you might not hate it so much.

  • I assume you have been in socialist countries, got a couple questions for you:

What time hours do grocery stores maintain?

How much do citizens pay in taxes?

How much of that money they pay do they see in return for its benefits?

How many hours do people generally work and how easy is it to get general contracting work done (considering permits and workers work ethic)?

Why haven't they adopted NEMA plugs and 110V electricity? (Europe in general question; I hate foreign power outlets)

  • @scrappmutt2

What time do grocery stores maintain, to be honest that depends on which you look at, the CO-OP is something like 8 am to 7pm (not sure) while others are 24/7. Pay in tax, varies pending on how much you earn, but i think the base is something like 17.5% tax (then VAT on anything that requires it pending if in the EU etc ofc). Those questions are kinda odd really, as the general view and laws etc are varied pending on where you live etc. Hard to say for most of it.

  • Thanks, just curious to see how life under socialism varies from under capitalism. I heard Germany takes near 50% of what a person makes, not including the VAT. I work for the on a military base which is, of course, government run. Being that greed is not a motivating factor, I find shops close up at odd times, supply never meets demand, customer service is horrible, and anything I do comes with more bureaucracy than needed. The socialism I live under here sucks.

  • @scrappmutt2

very different to what i got (i am also going into the military btw), but yea, some parts of europe are heavy on costs etc others aint, depends where you go as with all. But for the most part the customer service is better and bureacracy is less with gov programs then independant companies for me lol(for the most part :p).

  • Aside from your baseless decree absolving socialism of its own historical record, you offer nothing whatsoever.

    Scandinavia?

Those merciless socialist leaders have enforced policies that caused their indigenous population to stop breeding. Typical of atheist-socialist mystics, they are civilization-exterminators. They also aggressively imported Muslim crusaders, and forced their citizens to pay for those leeches who are now gang raping them otherwise dhimmifying your comrades.

    Do LEARN.

  • @TylerNull

and now you show you're true colours mate, congratz, i know you are not worth talking to by 1 single statement in that. As usual, a guy who cant understand the problems of painting everything the same colour.

  • Again, you fail to address the point. Only this time you were smart enough to steer clear of the entire topic.

Reasoning is the Unicorn of socialist devotees -- often claimed, yet never occurring in reality.

  • @TylerNull

you started off on racism/xenophobia and ended on racism/xenophobia, why should i talk to you about anything?

  • That a girl, squeal "racism".

That's sure to undo the historical record of socialists exterminating their own civilizations, and doing so with the reliability of gravitation.

    Keep not-talking to me, jackass.

  • @TylerNull

ha, just ha. (because the UK started killing its people when it nationalised after ww2 didnt it? :p)

  • Give my condolences to your mother.

  • @TylerNull

i know oh to well how socialism can work to help people, i know because i have been on the side where when you are down it helps you back up and i will be dammed before i give it up knowing how much it has helped me and my family in the past and how much it can help others. I only stick to the points and facts, when i do people just insult me like iirc this guy in the vid did several months ago, i gave him a legit argument he called me a sick disgusting communist yader yader yader.

  • @MitchofSmeg

It's interesting to note that anyone I know who has actually LIVED in a "Socialist" country sure as hell doesn't want to ever again. The list of which is the following:

China, Viet Nam, Cambodia, Romania, Georgia (former Soviet), Russia, Czech Rep, Slovenia, Slovakia, Bulgaria...

Are you referring to the UK, were you say you live, as a Socialist paradise? Bizarre. If not there, then what Socialist Wonderland did you come from? Please, I have to know.

  • I lived in a socialist country from 1970-73. The country was Chile and the enlightened demagogue was Allende. Really he was nothing but a Soviet communist as evidenced by the mass of Cuban/Soviet presence after his election.

Allende wrecked Chile's economy on purpose, (sounds familiar huh?). Then had his commie thugs go door to door in the poorest areas telling people if they wanted to eat, they needed to join the "socialist" party.

Now the utopia nazis have followed me to the USA. Great.

  • @burbworks: don't worry burb. This is still the United States and we are not going to let any Allande or Pinochet or Obama & Pelosi undermine our values. Yes, they are collapsing the ecnomy on purpose but after the collapse they will find us to be a different people then the Germans in the Weimar collapse or the Chileans in the 60's and 70's. We won't be duped into the dream of a proletariates paradise. If they come door to door like they did in Chile they will be met with resistance.

  • @drreedindeed

its interesting to note that china vietnam cambodia romania georgia russia czech rep slovenia slovakia bulgaria were communist not socialist (2 very different ideals, 1 is pure communist, the other is a mix of capitalism and communism to put it in its weakest form). The UK has not been socialist for decades, though parts of the EU are, the parts i would rather live in.

  • 5/5 good video.

  • So, which Kennedy decendant is that works at the state Dept?

  • LOL that actually make me cackle.

  • liberals are poorly educated.

  • I love this guy! Good post Lee!

  • How can you tell when a liberal is lying ?

    His lips are moving !

  • @invisiblebears You really need to pay attention. It's not the tone of voice. It's not the walls. It is something you will never understand. Common Sense! The one gnawing fact that you will never accept is HE IS SUCCESSFUL.

  • @ojiisan1945

A successful robot. Animatronics is really good these days. I'm just saying it's a possibility.

  • What does that have to do with anything?

  • Boycott media matters, then

  • And that's why the Mainstream Media is irrelevant, folks.

  • I'm sorry to say this but Heres how I see your whole situation over there in the United States. When you have Bush run the country(republican) you get war (wich may or may not be unjust wars might I add)+ a financial crisis. And when you get barack obama(democrat) your country goes to hell financially with a big smile on everybody's faces because the ones taking them to hell is a cool guy. No What you guys need is a government take over..A new american revolution. keep going like this ur screwed

  • That's what the Tea Parties are.

  • @tak178

You are correct. And don't you enjoy the advice from across the pond? Who could be any more "screwed" than the English, who are about to have their government/country taken over by the Muslims? We have problems, but proportionately speaking, not as bad as theirs.

  • @GammaSigmaBeta

    Right on.

  • These guys love Obama so much that when a government SUV runs somebody over, they blame the guy who got hit rather than allowing any possibility of blame to reach Obama. Of course Obama has nothing to do with it but it just exemplifies the hated the left has for anyone who is not them.

Come to think of it, blaming the victim is how the left deals with any crime. Or terrorist attack so I shouldn't be surprised.

  • Eric Boehlert looks familiar. Oh yeah, I flushed something like him down the toilet this morning.

  • HTWW,

Ok Ok, I get it. People on both sides name calling. Boehlert probably spoke out of line and isn't being even handed. Everyone's feelings are hurt. I feel sorry for Jim Treacher and hope this all gets resolved, and will be interested to see what happens when all the facts are in. If it was a government vehicle he's probably got a good amount of money coming to him.

I'm more shocked by the fact that those involved in politics or punditry would get involved in petty sniping and untruths.

  • Remember when Obama said his healthcare coverage would all be on cspan? Well someone asked him the other day why it wasn't, and he said "it has been on cspan"!!! that is a flat out 100% lie.

  • 1) Do you have proof that Newt lied when he said Reid was American? How do you know he was not just wrong? A lie involves an intent to deceive. It is probable that Gingrich thought Reid was American by mistake. That makes him wrong on a fact. It doesn't necessarily make him a liar unless you have proof he knew Reid was British and trying to deceive people into thinking he is American.

  • Comment removed

  • If you want lists of Republican lies, they do exist. I'd say start with George H. W. Bush's "No new taxes" campaign pledge. That was a whopper.

  • Oh and by the way, Rush's retard comments were making fun of Rahm's use of the word. He was spoofing Emanuel, not making fun of retarded people. Amazing that this has to even be explained to someone.

  • Rahm Emmanuel wasn't making fun of retarded people either. But Sarah Palin said he should resign. And Rush was DEFENDING Rahm saying

"I think the big news is the crack-up going on. But our politically correct society is acting like some giant insult's taken place by calling a bunch of people who are "retards," "retards." I mean these people, these liberal activists are kooks. " He was saying that people who were getting upset Rahm were retards, kooks, and over-reacting.

  • I actually agree with Rush that people over reacted about this. I think Rush is an idiot just trying to get attention by being as over the top as possible, but I think he was right. The person who is ridiculous is Sarah Palin who thinks Rahm Emmanuel should resign for saying Fing Retards about people in his own party behind closed doors. But when Rush says it, oh it's just satire!

  • Rush isn't trying to get their attention. He has 22 million viewers. He already HAS their attention. And poking fun at Rahm's lack of tact and bad temper isn't over the top.

And again, Palin did nothing wrong. When Rush said it, he was poking fun at Rahm. When Rahm said it, he was flying off the handle and insulting people. Liberals put these PC rules in place, and now they can't follow them.

  • Most of the pundits, at least the ones that manage to get ratings, do stuff just to get attention. Olbermann does his holier than thow, Murrowesque monologues. Limbaugh flails around & pretends he's Michael J. Fox w/ Parkinson's. Just because he has a lot of viewers doesn't mean he doesn't do this, it just means it works. Palin is a hypocrite. Do you think someone should have to resign for saying retard? Democrat or Republican I would stand up for them.

  • Should the daily show make fun of him? Sure. When people act silly or hypocritical they should be taken down a notch. Palin said "resign." But then Rush Limbaugh (I have read the ENTIRE transcript from his website) goes around using it a bunch of times. Calls the left kooks for getting mad about it. Says Rahm should apologize to the Democrats, not the retards. etc. And Palin says, "oh that's just so funny all those retard jokes Rush was making" (not actual quote) "He was just being satirical."

  • I also have the entire transcript. I actually was listening that day and I read the entire transcript, that is how I found what you conveniently left out. What Rush did was point out how the Left made up these ridiculous PC rules and then ignored then when one of their own violates them. They are protecting their own - hell, this is stuff you should be getting mad about.

Rush was being satirical, he was poking fun at Rahm's lack of tact.

  • They do stuff to get ratings. But most pundits do stuff they believe in, and Rush is the epitome of this. Trust me, anyone with 22 million viewers doesn't NEED to get attention. He already has it. If he were just an attention getter he would have faded out 17-18 years ago.

And Palin is no hypocrite because clearly as I have shown Rush was not doing the same thing Rahm was doing.

  • And by the way, yeah these are people in his own party, but they are going against the White House's demands. So Rahm loses his temper. Face it, if this were a Republican snapping like this, losing his temper practically every other week, leftists would be going apeshit and he's be made fun of by the Daily Show just about every night. But because he's a Democrat and an aide to Obama, he gets practically a free pass.

  • Yes, he was. His remark was disparaging retarded people with his words. By contrast, Rush was satirically poking fun of Rahm's lack of tact and general assholishness.

And Rush's pointing out that thsi is political correctness doesn't change the fact that he was poking fun at Rahm for flying off the handle once again. I mean, it's amazing. Dick Cheney says "go fuck yourself" one time to one guy and the left6 loses their minds. Rahm says that word every hour on the hour and nary a peep is said.

  • And of course, you left out the very next words from Rush's quote:

"Im not going to apologize for it. Im just quoting Emanuel. Its in the news. I think the big news is that hes out there calling Obamas number one supporters F-ing retards.

  • And he says "But the point I was making was that Emanuel compares Democrats to retarded people and then apologized to the retarded people, which, in turn is not a complimentary thing to say about the Democrats, either. It's sort of like if I would compare Obama to a rat and somebody said, 'Don't do that, you're insulting rats.' This is the same thing. Rahm Emanuel is comparing Democrats to retarded people. People say, 'Don't insult retarded people that way.' That's my take on it."

  • Rush was clearly making a joke at Rahm's expense and laughing at his temper and lack of any and all tact. I mean, seriously, what was Obama thinking? And clearly Rush says that he is just quoting Rahm.

  • @moroniclefty I said I AGREE WITH RUSH! It's ridiculous to get too worked up about someone saying F-ing retard. I don't use that phrase, if he said it to someone with down-syndrome or something it would be way out of line. People use that phrase, I am personally not a big fan of it, but I'm not going to get my panties in a bunch about it. I don't assume when people use it they are trying to be mean to the mentally disabled. Who DID get upset was Sarah Palin.

  • Rush was clearly saying that he thinks the PC police are a joke but it's funny how they let it slide when one of their own breaks the rules they imposed. Rahm clearly has a bad temper and makes ridiculous remarks without thinking.

Dick Cheney told someone to "fuck off" one time and we hear about it constantly. Rahm thinks every other sentence has to start with fuck and nary a peep out of people on his side. THAT is one side protecting their own.

  • Amd who cares if Sarah Palin got upset. Nothing wrong with that. But she never lied, and using her getting upset with Rahm as a counter to Boehler telling flat out lies about Treacher.

  • And clearly here Rush is insulting Democrats, not retarded people.

  • Rahm was referring to Democrats too when he called them retarded! Behind closed doors, do you honestly think he meant to intentionally be mean to retards? He's secretly a big retard hater? Who takes a shot at retards every chance he gets. And Rush VERY CLEARLY EXPLAINS EXACTLY WHAT HE MEANS! If you call Obama a rat you don't apologize to the rat. If you call Democrats retards why are you apologizing to the retards "THAT'S MY TAKE ON IT" <- That is Rush's "TAKE" on it!

  • That's exactly my point! He was referring to Democrats that dare to not march in lockstep with the Admin. Could you imagine the fallout if Rove said this about Republicans blocking the tax cuts? We'd still be hearing about it!

No I don't think Rahm hates retarded people. I think he has a big mouth and does what my mother calls "engaging mouth before engaging brain". He flew off the handle and made an off the cuff remark and it landed him in hot water.
