TRITTON AX180 Universal Gaming Headset

I got a problem with these. Got them for xmas.

When I plug in the "USB" I get this damn scurry sound that gets even worse when I enter a game, what is this? At first I thought it was an error with the headset and my brother, who bought it for me, went to the store with it, to trade it in. Apparently this guy at the store did something with the settings and it worked fine on his pc. When I got it back, there was just a tiny scurry sound, but the big one came back after 10 mins. What can I do?

So I can play Black Ops (on Wii) and chat the way I do with my current headset just this is universal and looks alot better and is built better. But is it chat like you can use this as your primary headset for chat and you can get the game audio in the headset?

@raspizah look at your ps3/x360 switch make shure that the switch is directly on your console's name same stuff happend took me a while to fugire it out peaplo complain about the mic little did they know that this is the problem

Okay so here's the thing: To me the mic isn't nearly as important as the sound. I have a pair of Sennheiser HD 202's, which are stereo, just like the Tritton AX 180's.

The HD 202's have very good sound quality, and are also confortable.

Should I buy the AX 180's? If so, why?

Can some one help me with this, I just got a pair of these and for some reason I can only hear the gameplay out the left headphone and the voices on the right headphone. Am I supposed to be able to listen to the game play through both headphones?

Had some for a month and they broke. Would not recommend as the mic is very un-responsive.

I was planning to buy this but I was wondering if it works with my Setup. I have a PS3 in my office with a Acer H243H Monitor. I've connected the PS3 via HDMI to the Monitor. The Monitor doesn't have any connection for the red/white/yellow cables, just 1 green for external speakers, 1 DVD-In and 1 VGA-In. So I guess it won't work with my Monitor or?

Coming from a pro circuit player... My friends bought 100+ dollar trittons, TB's and Astro's and I bought this for 50 bucks and did just fine.... Unless your loaded save the money and get these for 50-70 bucks... WORTH IT.
