The fatalities from DC could be way better than already is

God these fatalities are so...weak. The air of compromise hangs heavy, like DC didn't want their characters slaughtered or slaughtering people, which begs the querstion as to why they'd partner with MK.

Not a gore freak, but when you are expecting gore, and all you get is some mostly blood-less finishers, its a bit of a bad taste

Okay, really. Most, if not ALL of these, amount to what, in the new game, would be simple special moves or X-Ray attacks. At least they took the most brutal of the bunch and brought it back better and bloodier, just as kind of a Sorry from NRS, which is The Joker's Headshot fatality. There should NEVER AGAIN be any crossovers with MK ('cept maybe with Killer Instinct)

As such, part of the licensing agreement with WB, Midway could not let the DC heroes kill nor could the violence be gratuitous on the MK side (toned down fatalities). The game was meant to be campy, fun, and have a classic comic book feel.

Some of those Heroic Brutalities look pretty goddamn fatal to me. For example, the one at the very end, with Wonder Woman's lasso-throw. You're getting your SKULL TOSSED DIRECTLY INTO THE CONCRETE at a VERY high velocity. You're fucking dead.

I realize I may be in the minority in here, and I accept that, but I like these fatalities. Maybe a little more blood for some fatalities, like Jax's machine gun fatality, would've been nice; but I think these goreless fatalities can still be just as deadly and vicious like it's gory pre-decessors. And most the fatalities and many of the heroric brutalities are still extrememely deadly. I mean, could be worse. Could have Quan Chi pulling people's necks.
