The reason Alabama had to try so many long field goals in the first place is because LSU knocked them backwards every time they neard the 30 yard line and shut Trent Richardson down to 30 yards in the second half- 20 of that on one play. They tried a trick play that was intercepted as an act of desperation. LSU's playcalling was also heavily affected by the fact that Bama couldn't score. Troll.
