That was a scary night! I've lived in Wheat Ridge/Arvada most of my life and I've NEVER seen anything like it! Prospect Park was hit really hard, esp. the house by it....looking at that night now, I'm so thankful nobody got hurt, it could've gotten really bad.
i remeber that night it was verry scary broke every window screen on the east side of our house when it quited down my mom and i came out of the basement there was hail and laves on our floor. when we whent outside it was so foggy that lights from sirens made the air colorful. that was the scariest night of my life. i hope that never happens agian
wow ur car floated down the street? thats crazy. i from colorado. lived there my whole life minus the past 2 yrs and i havent seen anything like this.
We are right off Garrison and I-70 and that was some crazy sh*t - I've lived in colo. my whole life ( 27 yrs. ) and never seen that. Although after seeing all the damage done around us I feel fortunate nothing worse happened. My boyfriend's block was definantly in the "path" but luckily no injuries/fatalities! I feel for those who got hit the worse!
dude same thing at my house accept we have a ditch that leads into maple grove ressavore idk how to spell it anyway i have a vid on it and i was outside 5 minutes before and could see the moon then i went inside and it hit, no way of telling that it was comming
Man why is severe weather picking on us? First there was that tornado that showed up at Coors Field and now this. I sure won't miss this summer that's for sure.
That was a scary but yet equally exciting night! In my opinion...
