Also in 2010 Ciudad Juarez had more civilian murders than the entire country of Afghanistan. That's why it was ranked one of the most dangerous cities in the world. Be glad you live in the US, like I do, and away from this. :)

Compare NYC at it's peak in murders in the 80's and 90's to Cuidad Juarez or most of the towns in the state of Tamaulipas. Put it this way : in 2010 the city of Ciudad Juarez (population about 1.4 million) reached a total of 3,075 murders. Compare that to NYC pop about 8 million with your number of 2245 deaths. Do the math.
